chapter 31

So haven't really felt like writing past couple days but finally managed to get a chapter done. It's not the best chapter but it's a chapter...

The week was passing rather quickly. Nothing really happened. Luca was back in school on Tuesday  but he never got near Emilia, Dante made sure he was in the nurses office as soon as he glanced her way.

Alesandro and Damon were luring him into a false sense of security before they really took him down. They both made sure he wouldn't approach her at school and Dante and Matteo were making sure he didn't even look at her.

It was Friday now and Emilia had decided to head out, she had been released from class early so not listening to her brothers instructions about waiting for them she left.

She was about to turn the corner in the hallway when she saw Luca and his friends talking, she quickly backed away but made sure to listen into their conversation.

"Her brothers are really starting to piss me off"

"Yeah Im not risking going near her, they already cornered me"

Luca chuckled darkly at this sending a shiver down her spine "her eldest brother, Damon. I'm going to kill him next time he tries anything"  he had switched to Italian halfway through but Emilia had heard Damon's name so although she had no clue what was being said she memorised the words to ask Damon later.

She quickly backed away when she saw them heading her way. She didn't get far though as she felt a hand on her shoulder. She almost screamed but realized it was only Matteo who had come from where she had just had class.

And just like that Luca and his friends appeared. Matteos hand tightened a little but not so it would hurt her.

Luca laughed "I reckon we could take him" he said. Dante was the one to look out for, at least in his opinion.

"Do you reckon" Matteo said glaring at Luca.

One of his friends tried to attack but Matteo grabbed him by the arm, twisted his arm and threw him on the floor.

"Who's next" he said smirking.

Each of his friends took it in turns each one ended up on the floor

"Emilia why don't you go find Dante he will most likely be at your locker" Matteo said glaring at Luca.

Emilia understood what was going to happen and she quickly left. She heard Luca begging to be let go in the background as she quickened her pace.

"Where the fuck were you. We said wait for us" Dante almost shouted.

"Do you know how stupid that was. What could have happened?" He continued.

"I'm sorry" Emilia said feeling guilty.

Dante sighed and pulled her into a hug "never do that again" he mumbled.

"Am I forgiven?"

"You weren't in trouble I was just worried about you. I'm sorry for shouting" he said hugging her tighter.

Just then Matteo walked round the corner, his hair was now messy and his t-shirt had a blood stain on it. A smirk on his face as he approached his siblings.

"Who's blood is that" Dante asked.

"Luca's" Matteo said proudly.

Just then the three of them saw Luca running well trying to he was limping with blood running down his arm and a burst nose and lip and another black eye.
