Sunday

"Dad can I go out with Antonio today, he wants to do something together" Emilia asked walking into the kitchen, she didn't realise Damon was in the kitchen with Alesandro. He hadn't been about for the past two days so seeing him was unexpected.

"Weren't you with him Friday and you'll be seeing him tommorow" Damon commented before Alesandro could say anything.

Emilia suddenly felt like she shouldn't have asked. Damon was right. She should have expected to see him again.

"Of course, where are you going though" Alesandro responded. He was getting fed up with Damon's attitude. He would talk to him again later. Perhaps another threat to lock him in his own cells for a bit.

"I don't know" she replied.

"So basically you want to go see him and you don't know where you're both going. Watch him kidnap her" Damon said.

Damons hatred for Antonio came from what Luca had done. He never had a problem with Antonio until Luca. And what's worse, she didn't know his toxic behaviour was wrong so Damon was even more cautious.

"He's not going to kidnap me, that's just stupid" she replied then turned to Alesandro. "He says he wants it to be a suprise" she told him.

"Aw my baby is going on her first official date" he said going round to hug her.

"What? No we are just doing something together" She replied.

"Yeah but you're together, you do stuff together sure but I'm pretty sure if he's not telling you what you're doing he's got something planned" Alesandro replied.

"Oh" Emilia smiled but at the same time she felt the same feeling she did before her date with Luca. Sadness. She didn't have a mother to help her through it.  Lexi always had Alice to help her choose an outfit, for advice and when it went bad Alice would be there to comfort Lexi.

"Hopefully it ends better than the last one" she said shuddering at the memory of being kidnapped.

She left the room after that to get ready for what Alesandro said was probably a date and the more she thought about it. It probably was.

"You should probably go talk to her" Damon replied.

"Antonio's a good kid he's not going to do anything" Alesandro shrugged. He had accepted Antonio was good for her and had no bad intentions. He brought out a more confident version of his daughter too, at least that's what he figured since she came home friday with dyed hair.

Damon rolled his eyes "well I don't believe that, but last time with Luca, she was a little sad she didn't have a mother there. Alice was always around for Alexia. Perhaps she would benefit from you being around to support her"

Alesandro hadn't known this but he was glad he did because he was going to go be there for his daughter.
He was aware she probably did need a mother, all his kids really needed a mother but he wasn't going to let a woman take anymore of his kids from him so he had always tried to be there for everything. Every school event, every parents evening, every award, every sports game. He was there.

"Okay. And Damon, fix your attitude" he replied before leaving. He would have a proper conversation with him later but right now he deemed Damon's attitude far to irrelevant. Emilia was more important than Damon being in a foul mood.

He knocked and waited for her to tell him to come in and it was a while but when she finally did, he realized she had changed.

"Do I look okay? The dress isn't too short is it? I asked Sophia when you said it could be a date and she said to wear something nice so I think it is" she was nervous and didn't really acknowledge why her dad was here.
