Emilia

chapter 45

Damon sat drinking coffee that morning. The attack was happening in several hours but he wanted to see Emilia in case  things went wrong today.

He was going to confront his past most likely and he wasn't ready for it.

Emilia was always up before Dante and mason so Damon wasn't surprised when she came in ready for school.

"I've got a lot of work to do today Emilia, I might not be home tonight" Damon said whilst Alesandro who was also in the kitchen began making Emilia some breakfast.

"You've been gone alot recently" Emilia replied.

"I know but alot of my business is in different time zones so I sometimes have to work through the night" he explained.

"Maybe you are secretly a serial killer" she muttered.

Damon smiled at her comment. If only she knew. She wouldn't joke, she would hate him.

"Here you are" Alesandro placed some breakfast in front of her.

Not long later Damon decided he needed to go.

Emilia didn't really know what to believe about her family but Damon telling her he might not be back home tonight worried her so she left her brothers and father who were all now in the kitchen and followed Damon out.

Damon was putting on his suit jacket when she caught up to him. He had his hair styled slightly so he didn't look like a deranged killer but that would change in a few hours. He looked like a businessman who would fire anyone on the spot for a simple mistake.
He looked deadly, but Emilia didn't care she practically ran to him and wrapped her arms around him hugging him. Damon was taken back slightly but hugged her nevertheless.

"What's wrong Emilia" he asked slightly worried.
"Promise you won't be gone too long" she whispered.
Damon didn't know what to say but he was confident in his abilities but he knew he might be stuck torturing the boss for information.

"I promise" he said knowing he couldn't abandon her.

Later that day, Emilia was in class with Antonio and they were continuing the topic of organised crime making her wonder even further if Damon was a part of it, or more preciously her entire family. She was convinced if her father was a part of it he had more of a retired role as he was at work during school hours but was always at home when they were.
Her father wasn't dangerous but he certainly could switch that of he wanted and she saw how much authority he really did have especially when he was the only one Damon would obey.

Meanwhile.

Damon, Mason and Callum were leading teams. They had added to their plan. After clearing their areas, mason and Callum would join Damon. Mason wanted to have his back and Callum didn't want to leave one of his best friends defenceless.

"Remember Brookes is mine and so is she" Damon ordered.

Mason nodded respecting Damon's wishes to kill her. If Damon couldn't, he would definitely kill her himself.

And so on Damon's order, the attack on the serpents began.

The enemy wasn't expecting it and so they rushed about trying to defend themselves but Damon didn't give a damn. He had a balaclava over his face just like most of the Mafia. He didn't want to risk someone escaping or having their dying act exposing his identity.

He shot like it was meaningless, he didn't care who he killed. Mason was the same. Both brothers led teams and shot on sight.

Mason soon joined Damon and they fought side by side killing everyone in their path. A man tried to pull a gun on them and Damon smirked when he saw Callum behind the man, who wasted no time shooting him. "Took you long enough" Damon muttered. "Got caught up" Callum said and the three men continued their attack, they were covered by their soldiers and other mafia members.

Everything was going according to plan.

Suddenly there was a screeching shout that Damon knew all too well "let me go you stupid idiots"

Damon sighed but nevertheless a sadistic grin appeared as two of his men dragged a woman in front of their boss.

"It's been a while" Damon said. He did love to toy with his victims and he had been wanting to kill her for years so he wasn't going to make it quick.
"Want some help" Mason asked not knowing how Damon would act. He didn't know if Damon had it in him to kill her as much as he wanted too.

"I'm perfectly capable" Damon snapped and began his attack on the woman who gladly fought back, well she attempted it but Damon was stronger and faster. He blocked each attack and he hurt every inch of her before finally he grabbed her by her hair and dragged her to a wall and bashed her head against it. She blacked out instantly. Damon checked for a pulse and when he found one he threw her body in front of some of his men.
"Tie her up, we are taking her back with us, she's gonna regret ever messing with me " he ordered.

The men quickly complied knowing Damon wouldn't hesitate to shoot them if they hesitated. The gun fire was still ongoing but it soon came to a stop when Joseph Brookes was confronted by Damon who again brutally attacked the man and threw him to his men. He still needed the man alive. He needed information.

"search the place" he ordered everyone.

Mason hung back when everyone went looking.

"You okay" he asked Damon.

"Perfect. I'm going to torture her and kill her and finally get the information I require about Henry and Brookes" Damon said.

"I'm sure dad will be visiting first thing once we get them locked up" Mason replied.

Alesandro rarely took part in these sorts of stuff as he was retired but he loved to torture enemies still.

"Everyone is dead apart from them two. Let's keep it that way and find anything we can" he ordered and Mason complied. He walked slightly behind Damon for cover not that he needed it. Someone who they hadn't caught popped out of nowhere and Damon didn't even blink. He just fired shooting him between the eyes. Another came out, this time Mason hit him at the same time of Damon.

"Last room" Damon muttered once they reached the last room of their section. Damon opened it and was a little taken back to see a woman chained up.
"What do we do" Mason asked.

Damon rolled his eyes "she's obviously a member, Brookes obviously has her tied up so she can infiltrate the Mafia" Damon snapped.

Damon took out his gun and was about to shoot but Mason not wanting an innocent to suffer spoke up "let's take her prisoner. She might be able to give us information"
Damon rolled his eyes but lowered his gun and left the room. Mason took this as he was allowed to capture her.

So not much from this chapter but it's basically Damon and Mason killing everyone who crossed their paths. I probably could have gone into more detail.

So just a little information of what is known so far
3 people have been captured.

Joseph Brookes, the leader who is also friends with Henry.
And two mystery women. Both are not as weak or defenceless as it's portrayed.
