The nominations for the 2022 MTV EMAs were announced three days ago. Singer Harry Styles has a total of seven nominations, which makes him the top nominee. Taylor Swift is behind him with six nominations.
Nicki Minaj and Rosalia each have five nominations and Blackpink has four EMA nominations. They are the most nominated group and also the first K-Pop act to be nominated for Best Video.
For the first time ever, The EMAs are making all of the categories for this year's ceremony gender neutral. For example, the award Best Female or Male Pop Artist has now been changed to Best Pop to include all male and female artists combined.
