A/N: Important: As some of you may know, I'm dealing with a little problem right now. I don't want to get into details again but someone has sold paperback copies of CC7 without my permission. So clearly, I'm still upset that this happened and I'm still not sure if/how long I'm going to continue writing.

I'm also in the process of getting all my stories copyrighted. If anyone is using my stories (selling them/falsely claiming them as their own/posting them on other sites even when they "credit" me/conversions/translations etc) without my permission, I suggest you take it down before I find out. I've been turning a blind eye here and there but it's come to bite me in the butt big time. I won't be so naïve anymore and if I see my stories being used without my permission, I won't hesitate to seek legal action in order to avoid more cases like this.

So please, just respect my decision that I don't want my content floating around everywhere.

That being said, I was also positively surprised how many people wrote me messages of support on my tumblr. I haven't had the time to answer them but I will. This chapter is a little thank you to the majority of the readers who apparently have my back. Still, I'm not sure how this will play out but I ask for your patience and understanding even if I do decide to stop.

For the time being I'll leave the stories up.

Thanks and have a good one - Jazmin

p.s. I didn't proofread because I'm tired, sorry for the mistakes.

"The babysitter is here."

My best friend wore that unmistakable smirk on her face as soon as I saw the Polynesian standing in the hallway.

I was completely taken off guard when Dinah ignored my shock and hugged me tightly. Nearly dropping the phone in my hand, the taller one released me from her arms and still grinned widely.

"Judging by the look on your face, my surprise was a success", Dinah said.

"Yes, it was", I agreed and couldn't help but smile now as well. "How did you...I mean-"

"I've been planning to come and visit for a while", the other soccer player began explaining. "And now that Lauren is leaving I thought it was a good time."

"You're the absolute best, you know that?" I threw my arms around her once more because I felt so grateful.

"I know", Dinah snickered. "So, where's everyone?"

"Kitchen", I pointed her in the right direction before following.

"Aunt Dinah!" Lara squealed at the top of her lungs when we entered the kitchen that smelled heavenly.

"Oh wow, you've grown so much. Come here", the Parisian player opened her arms and Lara was quick to run into them. "I've missed you."

"I missed you, too", my daughter smiled joyfully.

I let my gaze wander and met the green eyes watching Dinah and Lara. Noticing my look, the emerald orbs refocused on me. Her lips formed a genuine smile and I was relieved to see that. A little part of me had been afraid that Lauren would be disappointed that our last night wasn't just the three of us. But from the happy expression on her face she seemed pleased with the situation.

"And who do we have here? If it isn't the biggest loss of our generation of women's soccer", Dinah smirked which made Lauren laugh mildly.

"Good to see you too, Dinah", the oldest greeted and came over to exchange a hug.
