"What's the report ?"
"Bloodbath sir, Blood all around" the agent handed James the report as soon enough the rest of the team circled the redhead as he saw the pictures
"Jesus" Pym said as he felt like he wanted to puke
"All that blood, who could cause all that damage ?"
"Or what could. There's something inhuman about this case"
Closing the file James sighed as he but it on his table
"And here I thought we would get some sort of break" James mumbled "Alright first thing tonight we go out on patrol. Try to look for whoever did this got it"
Everyone nodded their heads in agreement

Matt doesn't hear her until she's already there
In his apartment
He looks back from the Bathroom sink to confirm his sucpsicons but when he hears the way she trails her fingertips on his couch he knew she was there
Immediately he rushed out from his room to the living room and once he passed the door frame he felt her
"Elektra ?"
"Matt"
Already 5 seconds in and her voice seems unsure
"I....I....what are you doing here ?"
He reaches out to her with his voice. Wanting to do as much with his hands but she retreats, backs away a couple of steps as she hugs herself
"I wanted to come by and tell you i'm leaving"
Immediately his reaction was caught
"What ?"
Sadly she shook her head
"Daredevil is back in commission, Hell's Kitchen is back to the way things were, there's no need for me. Goodbye Matt"
Obviously she wanted to say more. Hell she didn't want to say any of it. But short and simple was the only way to get this done. And it's what she chose
Turning away from him she began to head towards the door but was stopped when he did it
He reached for her
"Wait" he said as he grabbed her arm
"Don't go, stay, stay here. Stay with me"
A faint chuckle escaped
"You mean here ?"
"No" he said sending a shiver down her spine
"Elektra I love you, I love you so much more than you could ever imagine, Days, Months, Years. You are one of the things I constantly think about. When Bullsye killed you I was lost, in my anger and so much more. Than you returned and than ran away again"
Taking her arm fully he turned her around
"And then I was lost again, and you trained me. And then we were back but I went to jail and you took over as Daredevil and......Elektra i'm tired of the back and forth"
She felt silly for avoiding eye contact with a blind man but it was hard. So hard, to even look at him in the face let alone try and stare at his blind eyes
But one thing she did understand was she felt him. Felt every word he was breaching to her. Every word he said she understood. Understood so well small flakes of tears came down
"Elektra I love you. Loved you for so long. Ever since College. And I want to be here for you"
He rubbed his fingers over he openly freed palm
