Chapter 28: Sun kissed Skin and Six packs

It seemed like time had slowed down. Aiden had a smile visible on his face. His blonde hair went flying as he pulled apart from me and put his arms out.
He then pulled his legs up and wrapped his arms around them as he fell into the water. A few seconds later, I dropped into the water too.
The water was clear as I opened my eyes. My eyes stung a bit at the saltiness of it. I breathed the water in by mistake and came up to the surface sputtering.
"You are an idiot" I said to him.
"That was so much fun!" He said laughing.
I shook my head and started swimming towards him. My clothes weighed me down making it so much harder to swim.
"Take off your top" he said to me.
I splashed him with water.
"Your forgetting I'm a girl" I said.
"Nope, not forgetting" he said winking suggestively.
"Pervert" I said sticking my tongue out at him. With Aiden everything seemed so chilled and I could be myself around him. He was a good guy and attractive at that.
Woah? Summer? Where on earth did that come from?
I didn't realize I was staring until I heard his angelic laugh.
"You know pictures last longer" he said.
I suddenly widened my eyes and dug into my pocket. My phone!
"Aiden" I said slapping his arm.
"You idiot"
"Your phone is waterproof" he said.
"How do you know?" I asked.
"Samsung Galaxy S5 mini is waterproof" he said.
"Wow- you are really interested in phones" I said to him.
He smirked "of course I am"
I swam to the shallow part of the lake. I put my phone there , getting ready to come out when I suddenly got splashed.
"Stop" I said to Aiden. He smirked and carried on. He swam away.
Oh hell no!
I followed him. He led me to the middle of the lake and I started splashing him. I started laughing as I ducked the incoming water.
We carried in for a while then we just spoke about random things. Everything felt so natural around him.
We started going for to the shore, we lay on the warm sand.
"I like this" he said.
"What?" I responded.
"Spending time with you" he said "you're cool"
"Thank you" I said.
"But do serious though- what is the baddest thing you've ever done?"
"Well- I don't know" I said "I'm with you when I should be studying"
He laughed "your an idiot" he said.
We fell into peaceful silence.
"You shouldn't be friends with me" he said.
"Please don't go all Edward Cullen on me" I said to him.
He laughed "I'm a bad influence on you"
I sighed "now you're gonna tell me your a vampire"
"Nope" he said.
"Werewolf?" I suggested
"Nope- this isn't Twilight Summer" he said.
I smirked "why can't I hang out with you? Because you're a year older than me?"
"No- I'm corrupted. I want you to save your innocence" he said.
"You sound like my father" I said sticking my tongue out at me.
"You're a great guy and you don't give yourself enough credit"
"Thanks- but I'm serious" he said.
"Well, I don't want to" I said "I like spending time with you"
He smirked and turned over.
"Ambitions?" He said.
"Being a doctor" I said "I'm taking, Physics, Biology, Maths AP, English AP" I started.
"Hard core subjects" he said.
"Your ambitions?" I said.
"Defiantly want to be a chef" he said "own my own restaurant one day- I mean it's not a good paying job but it something I love and I guess I would rather do that even if it means making a lot of sacrifices"
"That's a great goal. You shouldn't give up with that" I said.
"You know most of my girlfriends would say I'm stupid" he said.
"You aren't stupid for doing something you love" I said.
He smiled "thanks- Summer"
We lay in the sun for ten more minutes then decided to get up and go home. I laughed at him. He had sand stuck to his cheek. Reaching up as I brushed it off. I felt a sudden spark as I retreated.
Our eyes locked for a second and he seemed to be thinking the same thing I was.
what are you doing to me?
He closed his eyes. Sighing as he seemed to snap out of it, he turned away.
"Let's go" he said as I picked up my phone and jacket. We started going to the motorcycle.
"what about your top? Only an idiot would drive around without a top." I said.
"Oh no I've got an extra one" he said taking his helmet out and taking out mine. He had a orange top that he put on.
Unfortunately.
He put it on easily and put his helmet on.
I put mine on and I climbed on the motorcycle.
"I told you it wasn't bad" he said "she's a beaut"
I rolled my eyes "guys and their motorcycle's"
He smirked "we be cool"
He climbed on and I put my arms around him.
We started riding and got home pretty fast.
"So um- do you want to go bowling tomorrow? At eight" he asked.
"Sure" I said.
"Cool I'll pick you up at seven" he said.
"It's fine- I'll drive us there" I said.
"Okay" he said.
"Cool- thanks for today hey" I said.
"Anytime" he said "see you tomorrow"
I closed the door behind me and walked into the light house. The smell of cooked meat filled my nostrils. I realized that I hadn't eaten for five hours.
"I'm home" I called out as my two puppies rushed to me.
My mother came out in an apron and smile.
"How was it?" She asked me
"Good" I said as the doorbell rang.
"It was amazing- I have to ask you something"
