AFTER ABOUT AN hour and a half, Ellie was up and moving again. Hershel and AJ wanted her to continue to rest her mind and body, but the Dixon girl couldn't sit and do nothing for much longer.

So, that was how she found herself standing behind the turned over bus with Michonne in an easy silence.

"I love how quite it is here." That is, until the Dixon girl spoke up.
Michonne smiled softly and nodded. "It's easy to forget how loud it was before."

"Yeah." The girl nodded, pacing back and forth. Just then, a gun shot rang out, Michonne and Ellie whirling around just in time to see Axel drop to the ground with blood falling from his temple.

"Oh shit." The Dixon girl gasped, moving to press against the back of the vehicle when another shot flew from its gun barrel.

With a loud yelp, Ellie was on the ground, blood staining her finger tips as she covered her new graze wound.

"Ellie!" Michonne called, grabbing the girls hand and yanking her behind the cover. "You okay?"

"Mmhmm." The girl gulped, grabbing her gun from its holster on her hip.

"Ellie!" AJ yelled over the rapid gun shots.

"Stay covered, J. Stay with Carl!" She ordered back, able to see just the top of his head as he, the Grimes boy, and Beth took cover under metal bleachers.

The Dixon girl whirled around the end of the bus, pulling the trigger of her gun at the guard tower on the side to give Carol cover.

"Beth!" Maggie shouted to her sister, tossing a large gun over to the blonde and ducking behind a file cabinet. "Carol, go!"

Michonne turned over the other side of the bus, sending rapid shots to the truck the Governor was standing by.

Unfortunately, it seemed some god was protecting the disgusting man, as every single one of her shots missed his body completely.

As the firing calmed down, the prison group looked around to find the source of a vehicle motor.

"What the hell is that?" Ellie panted, glancing back at Michonne, knowing she wouldn't get an answer.

Her worst fears were confirmed when a large U-Haul truck crashed through the gates and screeched to a halt in the middle of the yard.
