IT HAD BEEN about two months since the disaster that was the Wolves. They had cleaned up the streets and began to expansion with the plans drawn out by the late Deanna Monroe.

At the moment, Ellie helped her father pack up the things he and Rick would need for their run that day when Denise walked over.

"Hey." Daryl called her attention, causing her to jog over.

"Yes?" She asked kindly. Ellie walked up next to her father, looking over the list in his hands silently.

"This thing at the bottom here." The Dixon man explained. "You're talking about the drink, right?"

Denise nodded. "I am, but...eh." She shrugged. Ellie caught sight of the request, Crush Fanta.

"It's not medical." Daryl mumbled childishly.

"No, I drew a line between the important stuff and that." The doctor pointed the thing pencil mark. "I just figured...If you saw it."

Daryl nodded, stepping away and nudging Ellie's arm. "Alright."

"Anything remotely medical is a priority." The young woman stopped them. "And food, maybe even food before medicine, and gas or batteries or books for the kids or clothes is just-if you see it, if it just happens to, you know, be right there."

Daryl nodded along. "You like it, right?"

"Oh, no. I don't drink pop." She laughed lightly.

"The hell's pop?" Ellie jumped in with furrowed eyebrows. "Who says that?"

"Oh, I'm originally from Ohio." The doctor cleared up. Both Dixon nodded before sharing a glance.

"So, why do you want it?" The girl asked curiously.

Denise hesitated. "Tara was talking about it in her sleep, I think. So she either likes it or she doesn't, but if she likes it, it'd be a really nice surprise." She paused a minute, gauging their reactions. "I'm not good with that kind of stuff, and she and Heath are going on that two-week run. I just thought it'd be a nice going away present." She flailed her hands around. "Just, uh, don't go out of your way." Daryl copied her childishly. "And if it gives you any trouble..."

"I won't." He said rudely, causing Ellie to smack his arm.

"Good, yeah, cause it's not really important. I should've said so instead of just drawing a line." She turned to walk away as the Dixon's did the same.
