"Kang Haerin!" A deep voice roared from across the cafeteria

Haerin was busy highlighting something on her book cannot be bothered by the sound of none other than Danielle's voice

She knew ignoring the latter will only make her fume in anger but she did it anyways. She's got no time for fighting right now.

Her finals is next week, she would rather stay quiet and ignore Danielle than waste a single word to satisfy the girl.

Plenty of chemistry books were plopped down the table were she sat and yet again she decided to ignore it.

"Haerin, didn't you hear me? I just called your name," Danielle's voice turned soft as a facadę before she turned into a yelling monster again

Haerin sighed heavily, getting irritated by the fact that her solo study session is getting bugged by her rival in the whole school

She massaged the bridge of her nose to calm down before giving a death stare at Danielle who's now smirking playfully

"I'm not gonna let you study until next week," She whispered

Haerin looked behind her which made Danielle curious.

"Dani I told you to knock it off, let's go home." Minji's deep voice is as beautiful as she is but Haerin didn't say that out loud

She was brought back to reality when Danielle began to click fingers infront of Haerin's face

She scrunched her nose and looked away.

"I have no time for you," Haerin packed her things while Danielle watched, still wearing that stupidly attractive smirk on her face

They were disturbed the second time by Hyein.

"Great, I was just about to get you to eat cheeseburger with me. You have time?" The highschooler asked

Haerin heave a deep sigh, she would rather spend time with Hyein than hear Danielle's mouth spouting nonsense

"Hey girl! I wasn't done yet," Danielle yelled, leaving an aussie accent echo throughout the cafeteria.

Haerin might hate Danielle for hating her but she actually love it when the girl speaks english with an aussie accent.

Oh, how she wish Minji got it instead of this rival of her who's got a loud mouth

"Bother me after finals, maybe I'll change my mind by then." Haerin replied nonchalantly

Danielle clenched her jaw in annoyance.

"Fine!"

Hyein remained silent as they walked out the cafeteria but as soon as they went past the gate of the umiversirt she began to bombard Haerin with questions such as

"She's still tailing you?"

"Obviously,"

"Why don't you just tell her to leave you alone?"

"That won't work, Hyein. I've done that plenty of times,"

"Why is she always pissing you off?"

"It's nothing."

Hyein squinted her eyes in suspicion by Haerin's last reply.

"Something's going on here," She added

Haerin looked away when suddenly an arm hung on her shoulder.

"Wassup you guys,"

It's Hanni. One of Haerin's friend.

"Hey, wanna come with us? We're getting a cheeseburger," Hyein offered

Hanni nodded her head and took out her phone. She began shouting at someone on the phone while laughing.

Haerin might have an idea on who could it be tho.

"Don't tell me you called Kai," She asked

Hanni's eyes widened, "How did you know?"

Haerin's shoulders slumped, "You're too easy to read. Ugh, at this point I wouldn't be able to study."

Hanni clicked her tounge, "Hey, not everything is about studying."

"It is to me,"

"Hey, isn't that your crush? What's her name again?" Hanni pointed at someone

Haerin slapped her hands lightly, "Don't point your finger at someone like that, it's rude."

Hanni raised her hands. "Okay, chill."

Her gaze went to where Hanni was pointing and she meet eyes with Minji who was also looking at their way.

She's with Danielle ofcourse, and with her other friends which Haerin can't recall the names.

"Let's go, I'm hungry I feel like I'll melt if I don't eat a burger today," Hyein stated dramatically.

"Oi~~ Pham Hanni!" A man's voice echoed from the other side of the street causing Danielle and the others to look at their direction

Hueningkai is currently running towards them.

Haerin facepalmed herself. She got even more embarassed when Hanni and him did their handshake infront of the other students.

"Hyein what's up?" Kai greeted her before turning to Haerin and picking up her books

"I'll carry this for you, come on let's go! It's my treat!" Kai cheerfully said, his eyes were twinkling so Haerin didn't have the guts to say no.

Hanni jumped on his back as they began to walk their way towards their destination while Hyein made him carry her things.

Haerin can still feel Minji and the other's eyes, and one's exceptionally piercing gaze which she believes come from Danielle.

She shake her head in disbelief and followed the rest.

Hoping that tomorrow she'll get to have her own peace.
