Instead of going home Minji decided to go back to the clinic but she was stunned to see Hanni behind her
They were both staring at each other with wide eyes
"Did you hear that too?" They both asked each other in unison
Currently, they're walking back to the clinic in silence. Doubting their ears if they were tripping or not.
The door of the clinic opened and Chaewon went out, she waved at the two with a smile.
"Ayo Minji my baby, where's Danielle? I'll treat her to dinner, I feel like I was too harsh earlier that's because I thought she bullied Haerin to that point okay but-" Chaewon continues to babble as they went in the clinic
Kai wasn't there, only Hyein and Haerin who are sleeping peacefully
"Where are the others?" asked Minji
Chaewon clings to her arms, "Didn't you go get Danielle? They haven't come back and Karina said she's got something to do."
"What were you doing here anyway?" Minji inquired suspiciously. After what she heard she's not sure anymore if everyone's keeping a secret
"This is going to sound crazy okay?" Chaewon whispered
Minji and Hanni went near, "You're already crazy but go on, we heard something even crazier," Hanni replied
Chaewon sighed, "I get massive deja vu whenever Kai and I talk, everytime I see him my head hurts so bad, this began after we ate burgers last week."
"Did it hurt earlier when you saw him here?" Minji inquired
Chaewon shakes her head, "Only if I look at him,"
Hanni frowned, "You didn't answer why you were here though,"
"You dummy, I asked for a medicine and rest. You guys were so loud that I woke up, anyways what's this crazy thing you guys said?" Chaewon stared at them in expectation
Whilst Hanni and Minji were hesitating to tell her, in the end they figured not to.
"It was nothing really," said Minji nonchalantly
Hanni crosses her arms, trying to act normal. "Yeah, Minji was just being a dumbass,"
"Why do you keep doing that?" asked Minji, obviously annoyed by how she's treated
Hanni raised a brow at her, "Cause you annoy me,"
"And you think you don't?" Minji leveled her head at Hanni's face
The latter scoffed, "I don't what?"
"You think you don't annoy me? For all I know you just want to gain my attention," Minji smirked
Hanni's face reddened at her remark, "You-"
"That's it you lovebirds! You'll wake the two sleepyheads if you kept going, Minji let's go! Drive me to Danielle's house," Chaewon pulled the girl who didn't budge an inch
Hanni and Minji were both having an intense eye contact when the door swung open
Kai went in holding a plastic and soda cans, "You guys going home?" he asked reservedly
The tension slowly vanished into thin air as Minji and Hanni stared at the boy, gouging his expressions to see what will give away.
"Yeah, we'll be on our way out." Minji eyed Chaewon who's looking away
"Actually Kai, I'm coming with them. Can you stay here? I'll be back," said Hanni
Kai nods his head. He looked exhausted and out of mind but they didn't point that out.
They trail off and as soon as they got into the parking lot, Chaewon fell on her feet.
"Fuck, it hurts so bad I can't walk anymore." She whimpered
Hanni and Minji carried her, "You didn't look at him right?"
"Yes, but his presence is making me nauseous, god I think something's wrong with me." Chaewon muttered with her eyes close
"Or maybe, something's wrong with him."
