Rhea's POV"Aarav?" I whispered in a shaky voice not believing my eyes right now.
This can't be happening.
My eyes turned blurry.
My emotions were haywire.
I didn't want to reach conclusions. But his face seemed contradictory to that.
For the first time since we both got close to each other, I was able to comprehend his emotion which I couldn't before but now I could.
It was filled with love.
"Mrs. Rhea Anand Aarav Singhania." He began in a calm and collected voice.
My heart swelled with happiness when he mentioned my father's name with his name.
My love grew in their folds for him as I looked at him with tear-filled eyes.
"The day I first saw the 11-year-old Rhea was the day I laid eyes on a girl. Eyes filled with innocence. An example of an energy bomb. The girl who only showered everyone with love. The girl who embraced everyone with open arms. The girl who liked to irritate the hell out of me. Was the first time I felt something towards a girl. To you Rhea." He spoke as if reminiscing the day again.
By now my heart was ready to jump out of my ribcage at the newfound information.
"I had a teenage crush on you. You were my first crush." He confessed chuckling a light blush covering his cheeks.
And my eyes turned amused at his confession and his flushed face.
I just want to kiss the hell out of him right now.
He looked so freaking cute.
By now my conscience had fainted watching the scene unfold in front of her.
"I always wanted you to talk to me when we were in that resort. So I would let you prank me and I would prank you in return just so I could talk to you even if it was in a stupid fight." He said looking directly into my eyes and pecking my knuckles instant sparks lit in my body at his gesture.
"After we parted ways there were random moments when I would remember you and our silly banters in the resort. At first, I thought it was just an infatuation and a silly teenage crush at the beginning. But when you came back into my life was the moment I realized it was not an infatuation." He poured his heart in from of me and I was trying my best to memorize this moment, his words, everything.
"Whenever you were near me there was this strange pull I always felt towards you. A strange connection. An unknown emotion that I was yet to discover. When I felt it was going out of my hands because I used to just stare at you when you didn't notice and I tried my best to stop doing reasoning it was my childhood infatuation. So I fought with you. All the time." I let out a laugh at his last sentence.
But whatever he said before that I was still trying to wrap my head around it.
It all felt so unreal.
"I tried to push you away from me. I thought you hated me because of those silly pranks. And I also fought with you always because I thought it was best for both of us in a way so that we don't owe each other anything. And I didn't want to get distracted from my work. " He spoke with a serious voice.
"But you proved me wrong. You were not my distraction. You could never be." He spoke with a sincere expression.
By now I was on my knees in front of him like he was as we both stared into each other's souls remembering all those days as if it just happened yesterday.
