Vacation in the Resort

Author's POV

"I am going to push him in the pool. That's it." Rhea muttered angrily, walking into her allotted room in the resort to see Aarav's sister Aria watching a cartoon on the television.

"What happened, Rhea?" Aria asked, looking at Rhea from the bedpost with curious eyes.

"Your good-for-nothing brother pranked me. Again!" Rhea exclaimed angrily, walking into the Washroom hurriedly.

Aria followed Rhea to see her drenched from top to bottom.

Aarav is so dead. Aria thought to herself.

"Oh my God," Aria exclaimed, looking at Rhea in horror. It was 12 degrees outside. Why would Aarav do this to Rhea?

"Is he still breathing?" Aria asked just to make sure she didn't kill her brother already.

"Yes. But not for long, though." Rhea whispered menacingly, turning on the hot water for the tub.

Aria flinched at that with a grim expression.

RIP, my brother. Aria muttered to herself, looking at Rhea's raging form.

"And Dhruv?" Aria asked, completely knowing he would also have the same faith as her brother.

"He will have a slow and torturous death." She gritted out, shivering, and Aria did a praying sign, muttering rest in peace again.

"Okay. Have a nice hot bath. Clear your hot mind. We can talk about it. No need for such extreme measures." Aria said, cautiously staring at Rhea's back when she snapped her neck to look at Aria, startling her.

"He started it. And I am going to end it. There is no in-between." Rhea exclaimed as she examined the water temperature.

"Aye Aye, captain." Aria squeaked out as she walked out, closing the door behind her.

"Ready?" Rhea whispered to Aria, who nodded in response, giving her a thumbs-up.

Aarav and Dhruv came out of the Resort entrance laughing at something while carrying a football in their hand. Rhea and Aria waited until they saw Aarav and Dhruv, who were both beside the swimming pool.

"Go," Rhea whispered to Aria, urging Aarav's sister to go and talk to her brother, distracting him.

Aria quickly walked towards her brother. "Hey! Wait for me." She yelled loudly, gaining their attention as they looked back towards her now.

Rhea took silent steps behind them with 4 cubes in her tiny hands, 2 in each of her hands. Once close enough to them, her eyes connected with Aria past Aarav's and Dhruv's shoulders. "What happened?" Aarav asked his sister, confused why she was stopping them.

"Even I want to play with you people," Aria said with a huge fake smile. "With us?" Dhruv questioned, confused, looking at her. "Yes!" Aria responded in a high-pitched voice, startling them. "You want to play football with us?" Aarav asked once again. Because, as far as his knowledge went, his sister hated playing games.

"Yes. Can't I?" She asked with a tone that Aarav couldn't quite place as normal as Aria's tone.

"You can but you nev- AHHHHH" Aarav's sentence was cut off as he and Dhruv screamed out loud simultaneously at the same time, making them jump at the cold sensation seeping into their skin on their back and turn around.

"Hello there," Rhea said with a wide grin on her face as she came face-to-face with the prankster duo, who looked at her, shocked, as they didn't notice her coming behind them and dropping ice cubes into their T-shirts. "Happy swimming!" She whispered to Aarav and Dhruv before pushing both of them into the cold pool in their vulnerable state of shock.
