he hesitated for a bit you let him be.
"i do actually." he whispered in your ear.
"so...?"
"well, nevermind."
"what?! you can't be serious! just tell me come on."
"now's not the right time Y/N."
"and when's the right time?"
he brought his face closer to yours and stared you in the eyes intently. "you'll know."
"how mysterious." you rolled your eyes.
"yes but i know you like it." he washed some glasses and smirked, his head lowered and his eyes gazing up at you.
you leaned against the counter. "yes i do." you laughed subtly. "that's probably why i had a huge crush on shadow as a kid."
"who?" he continued washing used dishes.
"shadow. you don't know him? you know the edgelord hedgehog with black and red hair. sonic the hedgehog's enemy."
"i only know of the sonic franchise slightly."
"hm. not surprising." you stated.
"what does that mean?"
"oh, you know..."
"how secretive."
"mm... yes but you like it." you tilt your head slightly and grin.
"i absolutely do." he put sarcastic emphasis on the "absolutely". he set the final dish for drying. "i'm done. you should go home now."
"oh so i should leave because you're leaving."
"no, i don't even understand why you stayed in the first place." he took his apron off and fixed his hair.
