The twins enter their mother's house hearing loud music.

"Mom! Hello" Victoria calls out over but isn't heard due to the music. Rory walks over to turn down the radio causing Lorelai to come downstairs confused.

"Oh, girls. Good" Lorelai walks over to them. "I did not go suddenly half deaf. Were you supposed to meet me here?" she asks. "No, we're a surprise" Victoria answers.

"As was your conception" Lorelai jokes.

"Ew" Victoria makes a disgusted face. "I'll just be two minutes" Rory goes to her room to change.

"Hey, how was your day with Jason?" Victoria asks. "Fun! He makes me laugh" Lorelai answers. "Aww, I like that" Rory calls out from the other room.

"He's very off-center. It's been a while since I've been with someone off-center" Lorelai tells her daughters.

"Cool" Victoria says. "I'm telling Mom tonight, about us" Lorelai mentions.

"I think Grandma knows you're our mother" Rory jokes. "About me and Jason" Lorelai clarifies as Rory walks into the front hall, putting on her coat. "Very brave" Victoria says.

"Yeah" Lorelai says as they walk through the kitchen.

"Jason's wanted to from the beginning. It's the mature thing to do and that's why I didn't want to do it, but it's time" she continues. "That's weird" Rory says looking in kitchen cabinet.

"What's weird?" Victoria asks. "This" Rory takes out loaf of bread. "Bread? Bread is weird?" Lorelai asks her.

"It's weird when its here. It does not make a good snack" Rory says.

"Speak for yourself, I love bread" Victoria replies. "Plain bread?" Rory asks.

"Sure" Victoria nods. "It doesn't need to be plain. You can add stuff to it, like cheese" Lorelai says. "We have cheese?" Victoria moves to the refrigerator and opens it.

"Yeah. It's not Donner Pass, we have cheese" Lorelai laughs.

"Whoa! It's like a frickin' cornucopia" Rory walks up behind her sister to look in the fridge. "Yeah, there's the stuff" Lorelai says.

"There's the cheese" Victoria grabs the cheese. "Yeah, yeah. Why are you making such a big deal about this?" Lorelai asks. "Because we never had real food in this house the whole time we were growing up" Rory explains.

"What? We always had food" Lorelai insists.

"This fridge was never empty" she tells them. "Well, yeah. We had left overs from take-out, cold pizza, Luke's fries, but never stuff you had to assemble" Victoria explains.

"Okay chill out on the inquiry" Lorelai pushes the fridge door closed. "Is that a cucumber?" Rory asks. "Listen, you'd make a terrible private investigator, because you get hung up on all sorts of dumb stuff that does not matter, now come on. We're late, I'll drive" Lorelai leads her daughters out the kitchen.

"Sounds good" Victoria says.

"Oh my God, is that a tomato?" Rory points to a basket. "Enough already. Let's go" Lorelai responds.

"Ah, my girls are arriving together" Emily says answering the front door.

"You smell like coffee" she says as she takes their coats. "We haven't had any" Victoria tells her.

"It's so strong" Emily gets closer smelling them. "Okay, Mom. I really don't like you sniffing me" Lorelai tells her. "Hey where's Grandpa tonight?" Rory asks as they walk to the living room.
