"Pick up, pick up, pick up" Lorelai mumbles to herself as she waits for Victoria to answer the phone.

"Hello?" Victoria answers. "Hey-hi, uh what are you doing?" Lorelai asks her.

"Just laid Jamie down for his nap, what's up?" Victoria asks as she falls back laying on the couch. "Is anyone else there?" Lorelai asks. "No, why?" Victoria asks her.

"I'm kinda freaking out here" Lorelai replies.

"Why? What happened?" Victoria asks worried. "Promise not to tell anyone? And I mean anyone" Lorelai makes her promise.

"Yeah, yeah I promise. What is it?" Victoria asks her. "Logan just asked for my permission to ask Rory to marry him" Lorelai whispers despite being alone. "No he didn't" Victoria says in shock.

"He did, and I think I gave it to him" Lorelai tells her.

"Oh my god" Victoria says still stuck in disbelief. "I know" Lorelai responds.

"Wow" Victoria says. "He never mentioned anything to you?" Lorelai asks. "No, never" Victoria answers.

"What do you think Rory would say?" Lorelai asks her.

"I have no idea" Victoria replies. "I mean she loves him and they have been together for a what like three years now?  Including the rough patches" she adds.

"Yeah, I guess it does make sense for the relationship timeline. But does it work for her overall timeline, like where she is in life?" Lorelai asks. I have no idea" Victoria repeats. "And we can't say anything to her right?" Lorelai asks her.

"No, definitely not" Victoria answers.

"Okay...so what do I do?" Lorelai asks. "Nothing, I think" Victoria tells her.

"Nothing?" Lorelai asks her. "I mean, what can you do?" Victoria asks. "...nothing" Lorelai answers.

"So we agree, we just wait any let it happen?" Victoria asks.

"I guess we have to" Lorelai says. "Okay...wow I didn't see this coming" Victoria says still trying to wrap her head around to.

"Tell me about it, I just sat there in silence like a moron when he asked me" Lorelai tells her. "Oh my god, tell me you're joking" Victoria laughs. "I wish I was" Lorelai starts laughing too.

At the twin's graduation party that Richard and Emily are throwing for them the twins and their boyfriends are talking when Lorelai and Christopher walk over.

"Hey, kiddos" Chris says. "Hi, dad" Rory goes to hug him.

"Hey" Victoria hugs him too. "Hey it's good to see you boys" Christopher turns to the boyfriends. "Good to see you, too, sir" Tristan replies.

"So, are you getting excited?" Chris asks.

"Yeah, I can't believe it's tomorrow" Victoria answers. "Where's Jamie tonight?" Christopher asks looking around the room.

"Babysitter" Tristan answers. "Ah" Chris says before they hear tapping on glass. "Ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen, first let me thank you for coming to celebrate my granddaughters' graduation. Ouch" Richard says as his wife pinches his arm.

"I do beg your pardon. Celebrating our granddaughters' graduation" he corrects himself earning laughs from the audience.

"I can't let him take all the credit" Emily says. "Have you seen them? Can you blame me?" she asks earning more laughs.

"So, when my wife and I sat down to write our toast, we ran into something of a problem. All of our words sounded too mundane, too insignificant to mark such an auspicious occasion as Victoria and Rory's graduation from Yale" Richard explains. "So instead... maestro..." he says. "Please excuse us. We're not singers" Emily says as the piano starts playing.
