Act 7 ch 11

"I just feel so bad" Victoria says sitting on the couch with the cat climbing up on her.

"None of it's your fault" Tristan says sitting on the floor next the Jamie, while Jamie plays. "I know, but I just love them both so much and they're both miserable now. I don't like seeing that" Victoria explains.

"Do you think she should've said yes?" Tristan asks her. "I don't know, I mean I always pictures it being the four of us. Logan and Rory, you and me" Victoria sighs. "But if she's not ready then she's not ready, she shouldn't have to be talked into it" she adds petting the cat.

Tristan's quiet for a moment looking at her.

"Do you think you are?" he asks. Victoria looks at him confused.

"Ready" Tristan clarifies. "Oh" Victoria says caught off guard. "Relax, I'm not proposing in the middle of a conversation about failed proposals. But hypothetically speaking, if I did..." Tristan says.

"I'm not answering you before you ask" Victoria tells him.

"Alright. I guess I'll have to get on that then" Tristan says. "Oh, yeah?" Victoria asks.

"Yeah" Tristan nods. "Okay" Victoria says. "You better know what you want, cause it's happening soon" Tristan tells her.

"Well now I'm gonna be expecting it" Victoria says.

"No you're not" Tristan shakes his head. "No, I wouldn't do anything predictable. I'm gonna make sure you're surprised" he insists.

"Good luck with that" Victoria says.

In Rory's bedroom, Lorelai and Victoria lay in Rory's bed, Lorelai on her laptop and Victoria playing with Jamie, while Rory finishes her résumés.

"All right after Great Adventure the next Roller coaster would be here at Lake Compounds, home of the Boulder Dash" Lorelai tells her daughters. "Love it" Victoria says.

"The number one choice of wooden roller coasters, according to Mr Arthur Levin of about.com" Lorelai reads. "Oh yes the venerable Mr Levin, a legend in coast criticism" Rory says. "So you've heard of him" Lorelei replies.

"Well of course what coast connoisseur hasn't?" Rory jokes.

"Great airtime, he says, smooth ride, relentless speed from start to finish. You can admit it if you're scared" Lorelai says. "What? I'm not scared, are you scared?" Rory turns to her sister.

"No I'm not scared, I'm not the one who screams" Victoria replies. "That happened once" Rory defends herself. "Really busted my eardrums" Lorelai remembers.

"You want to keep talking smack or you want to tell me what comes after the Boulder Dash?" Rory ask her.

"How about the Cyclone in Coney Island. And then we can head west to the Millennium Force Ohio, this calls it a Giga Roller coaster" Lorelai suggests. "You know what I say, no hands, eyes open that's right you heard me" Rory says.

"I'll believe it when I see it" Victoria scoffs. "Well believe it. Okay I am done, 74 résumé's, addressed and sealed" Rory tells them. "Not at all excessive" Lorelai comments.

"Well I just wanted to make sure I didn't leave a stone unturned" Rory explains.

"Yes rocks, pebbles, boulders they've all been turned" Victoria says. "Well I got it all done before our big trip, can you believe it. Oh man I have a lot of books" Rory looks at her stuff.

"Hey there's a cool State-Fare coaster in Springfield, 50-mile detour, worth it" Lorelai tells her daughters.  "Hum. Aw" Rory pulls something out of a box. "Aw, the rocket" Victoria says.
