How We Met

Chapter 1

Ria's POV

*Loud knocking*

Aww shit, I got fall from my bed from being startled by the harsh knocking at my door glancing at the clock to know what time is it, its fucking 7 am. Who would disturb me this early? After opening the door, it reveals my annoying landlord who thinks she's "super" pretty but to be honest nope. Just to boost her ego she'll asked you if she's pretty and if you disagree, she'll get you evicted or threatened you.

"Finally you're awake and did you just woke up? Iww, anyways this is your last day so pack your garbage cause this people behind me wants to move as soon as possible. Hurry up, we don't have forever here. Tomorrow morning if we get here your not here. I don't want to see your ugly face anymore."
My landlord says in her disgusting high pitch voice and act like she's noble or something.

"*scoff* Me? Ugly? You're funny! I only say you're pretty cause you'll evict me or threatened me but now that I'm leaving I'll say this in front of you. You're ugly asf and you have this disgusting voice that irritates me a lot." I said that i ask her if she needs anything or if she have to say anything cause I'm fucking annoyed by her. It's funny that she falls silent after what I've said. She said none so, i closed my door and make myself a breakfast.
I cook kimchi friedrice and some eggs.

After eating i start packing my stuff and questioned myself if am i really gonna be homeless now? How am i gonna survive this? If only mom is still here, she always knows what to do to in any situation, solved it in ease. I really miss her.

After I left i immediately searched a place where i can stay for a long time using the only money left. I should just stay at a public bathhouse it's less pricey and safe place plus I don't want to look for a job having smells. Hopefully * finger crossed * my money will last for a while. * Sighs * I wish I get my salary to my 2 remaining jobs that won't pay me in two fucking months. Those jerks really like to see me suffer plus this stupid lady fired me that night.

*Flashback

"Hey! Come to my office." I just nod and followed my boss and start to think if i did something wrong yesterday and today. She rarely call us to her office so now I'm contemplating my life. Shit! I'm fucked up, i guess. She always call us into group not alone.
When we reached her office, she told me to sit which i obey.

"You are? Uhmm... Ria right?" She questioned. I just nod as a response cause she's looking at me with those scary eyes.
"You're fired." I turned pale, wait fired?
"What? Ma'am please no! I really need this job." As i beg her to let me stay. She handed me my salary.
"If you really can't lose this job, stop spacing out and focus on the customers. Your good, hardworking but a lot of customers always say that they don't like you. Your performance weakened, this past few days also your dozing off and we can't even talk to you properly. Here i put more cause your hardworking but I can't let you stay any longer a lot of customers are complaining about you." After my boss gave me my last salary and look at me with pity in her eyes. I just smiled, thank her and bowed. I don't need your pity if you only give my salary right on time I won't get evicted. Too late cause tomorrow she'll kick my ass. She's that eager to kick me out that she lowered the rent even if she loves money so much. Just what did i do to deserve all of this?
"Wait! *handed me a flyer*" I raised my eyebrow, all confused.
"Try this job. They'll need your skills there, hope you'll get hired."

*Present

I was about to give her my payment that night when i came home after i got fired. She won't accept it and said there's a new tenant. Luckily my stuff wasn't heavy cause I'm too broke to buy stuff for myself. My salary in my jobs payed my bills and rent plus food, sometimes i have to eat once. Anyways, i searched for the nearest and lowest price public bathhouse, its in Gangdong-gu. I walked to the bus station and go to Gangdong-gu. After the ride, i walked to that public bathhouse where I'll stay for a night and start my day there.

*After walking 10 minutes to the bathhouse

I'm fucking exhausted and hungry. I go inside and payed for my stay, proceed to my locker and place my belongings there. Since i only have a few things it fits inside, funny. Changing into their dress code here and eat whatever i have in my suitcase. After eating, planning to sleep to have enough energy to face another suffering. Goodnight!
