on humans.

I thought I knew humans.

I thought I knew all about how they were selfish and self-serving and wore masks of kindness to fool themselves into thinking that they were "kind".

Just another word for overly wealthy pigs showing off their wealth.

I thought I knew how they were naturally violent, always, always, fighting for things they didn't need, territory that wasn't theirs, ridiculous objects that they slapped a label on and called "grandeur".

I thought I knew how they valued nothing other than what benefited them, drooling over opportunities to extinguish threats to their so-called "happiness" like moronic animals snapping at each other's throats over a bone.

And then you came waltzing into my life and changed all of that.
