she never quite liked uppercase

they stuck out and demand attention

prodding your eyes until you finally, finally reached that sentence

then the next one will barge in, shrieking like a particularly disgruntled newborn until your eyes flicker over to it

she never quite liked writing full stories

instead preferring drabbles and snippets

because those meant the story wasn't quite done yet

she never did like stories ending.

so she wrote tales that seemingly started in the middle of a story

that only showed glimpses;

of another story

of another world

of another life—

before ending,

leaving readers to finish them themselves.
