Feelings For Wednesday? Never. {Wednesday x enid}

2. Quality time..?

Enid pov:

I had been sitting on my bed watching TikTok quietly since it was Wednesday's writing hour. ,,Enid could you turn the volume down-'' Wednesday mumbled from across the room as her hands were pressing on the typewriter. ,,Ah right sorry i'll turn it down''  I said lowering the volume of my phone so she could keep writing in peace. 

After a while she finally stood up from the type writer and i focused my eyes on her smiling to myself. ,,What?'' Wednesday shot me a cold glare facing towards me. ,,Oh nothing!'' I looked away awkwardly trying to not make it even more awkward. ,,Do you wanna come with me to get a coffee at the Weathervane Enid?'' I jumped up from my bed excitedly. ,,Oh my gosh, yes ofcourse!'' I quickly put on my shoes following Wednesday out of the dorm who seemed annoyed by my hyperness.

(Later at the weathervane)

Narrative pov:

They both entered the Weathervane walking to a cozy place to sit down. After a while Xavier walking up to them with a smile. Enid couldn't help but feel a little jealous as she saw he was looking at Wednesday.

Wednesday looked over to her side seeing Xavier walking up to them. His eyes focused on where she was sitting as she rolled my eyes a little. ,,Oh hey girls, how's it going?'' Xavier looked at Wednesday hoping she'd scoot over so he could sit. She gave him a look and scooted over. ,,I was doing fine until my parents decided i should still go to this school even though i'd rather be eaten alive'' She said in her usual tone as Xavier just nodded not sure what to reply. ,,Uh, What about you Enid?'' Wednesday noticed Enid not focused on what they were saying. ,,Hm? oh sorry i zoned out!'' Her eyes focused on Wednesday's for a second but she then broke the eye contact. 

Enid pov

I don't know why but i felt a sting in my stomach seeing Xavier sit so close to Wednesday. ,,You alright Enid?'' Wednesday looked at me with a straight face. ,,Ah yeah im fine, just thinking about stuff'' I smiled getting up. ,,Im gonna go grab a coffee, You want some Wednesday?'' She nodded and faced Xavier again to talk to him. I walked off trying to stay calm. ,,What is this feeling..?'' I thought to myself hoping i could just forget about it. I walked up to the counter and ordered two coffee's for me and Wednesday. I noticed Wednesday looking over at me but once i looked back at her i saw her return her eyes to Xavier. 

,,Here you go, two coffee's'' The person behind the counter handed me them and i walked back to Wednesday and Xavier. ,,Well it was nice talking to you two again, I'll see you at school tomorrow.'' Xavier waved his goodbye as i sat back down giving Wednesday her coffee. ,,He left pretty quickly, Did you say something to offend him?'' I chuckled taking a sip from my coffee. ,,It didn't seem like i did, But if i did then i wouldn't care much either'' She said bluntly. I nodded taking another sip of my coffee looking through the window as it started to rain pretty heavy. ,,Oh gosh- Did you take an umbrella?'' I looked over at Wednesday who was also focused on the rain but shook her head at the question. 

,,We won't die of a little rain, We can shower at the dorm'' Wednesday said in a calm tone looking back at me. I couldn't help but feel a little nervous as she looked at me. ,,Yeah your right, Let's just go then.'' I finished my coffee and put my jacket back on pulling the hood over my head. Wednesday did the same and we both left the cafe walking back to our dorm in the rain.

It took a little longer because of christmas and lack of inspiration, I'll try to post chapter 3 tomorrow!
