one week later New Year's Eve
"So, it was true then," Pansy asked while she held the side of my head, felt-tip makeup pen smudging my eyeliner. She had offered to do my makeup for new year's eve if I did her hair. We were in her room at her family home in London, and I had just arrived from my morning shift at the Inn. "You actually punched Potter?"
"I did." I nodded, biting my lip with my eyes still closed so she could work her signature black wing magic. "How do you know that?"
"Stop moving your face," she remarked after my eyebrows furrowed together. "And I don't know. I heard through the grapevine that a Weasley got kicked out. Draco had us on Weasley duty for years now, so basically, any gossip about you guys we hear and report to him."
I spent the rest of Christmas Eve and Christmas day with Draco at Malfoy manor. We didn't do anything special besides sleeping and touching each other inappropriately. He did somehow manage to get a few wrapped gifts for me to open and that made me feel at least somewhat magical.
