the most gut-wrenching playlist I could find for the truth to come out

if you're new here, and this is your first book of mine you are reading.... Congrats on making it this far without having to experience a whyamihereiamgrown plot twist

if you aren't new here.. congrats on making it through a whyamihereiamgrown plot twist and coming back

This is where I write something so incredibly heartbreaking and emotionally devastating until my original plot idea is back. These are usually chapters I had written when my thoughts for a plot came into my head, and I have continued to build on them since then.

I'm so so excited for you to read it, and please, if you want to, leave heavy feedback on the next six chapters. I would love to know what you guys think and your emotions.

Please review the trigger warnings before reading

The worst day of work was always the day before school started; this year was no exception

The worst day of work was always the day before school started; this year was no exception. Espically when I had spent the past week without Draco, unknowingly entering a no-contact period. Since he told me he wasn't coming back to school, I woke up, looked at myself in the mirror, and wondered why he hadn't talked to me if we didn't break up.

The morning shift went by quickly. It was Sunday, so the Inn guest got a full breakfast before the other guest started to trickle in. The Hogwarts Express had clearly come in from the station. Winter break was officially over, and students in the higher levels and some staff visited the Inn for an afternoon butterbeer before dinner.

I thought at; first I was in the clear; nobody I didn't want to talk to didn't come in. That was until Hermione Granger sat at one of the bar seats, stopping me in my tracks. I glazed around to the other customers at the bar and then back to the booths- all waited on and laughing. I had no reason to ignore her, but my bitterness was harsh when I finally spoke.

"What do you want, Hermione?"

"Daisy," her lips purse together, and her eyebrows crinkle at the base when she does it. "We will have to talk eventually, and you know we can't ignore each other all term."

She wasn't wrong. However, I wasn't going to admit it to her face. I was ignoring her and my siblings. I was also completely going through shit, which was mostly their fault.

"So we can talk in the dorm, not at my job." I scoffed, rolling my eyes already at the disrespectfulness I had received. "I'm working an all-day shift. I'll miss the welcome back dinner tonight, but after... I'll be in the dorm room."

Hermione leaned forward, her curls messy in the front, "Ron said he's seen you here every day this week."

My eyes flickered up to hers from the spot on the tabletop I was cleaning, "Ron was here?"
