"What do you think you're doing?"
(YN)'s hand flinched as one of Hyewon's eyes flickered open. He pulled his hand back on impulse and looked away to the window of the room. A warm feeling now settled itself on his cheeks and a light hue of pink grazed his face.
Hyewon sleepily lifted her head up. She stretched her arms briefly before returning back to her sides.
"How was your rest?"
She heard her secretary ask. Hyewon looked at (YN), who was still looking away from her. She smiled softly at the sight in front of her.
"It was refreshing but now I wonder how yours went since you woke up earlier and had time to do...whatever you were doing."
The woman's voice trailed off as she remembered the scene from earlier. She leaned in on the bed, using her hand to cup the side of her head almost as if she was imitating his earlier actions.
"I-i wasn't doing anything earlier.."
Was all (YN) could speak out.
"Really now?~ Though I don't really mind if it came from you but I'm not exactly keen on someone watching me sleep."
Hyewon intentionally teased, hoping to get some reaction out of her secretary.
"B-but I wasn't doing anythi-"
(YN) stopped talking when he heard his boss giggle at him. He looked at her as her eyes closed and a visibly wide smile was on her lips.
Has she been playing with him on purpose?
If so, he should be somewhat annoyed with his boss but just from the sight in front of him, the annoyance soon went away. Little did he know, a small smile grew on his face.
"I didn't know you had a playful side, Ms.Kang." He commented.
"How did you not know that? For your information, I play jokes every once in a while now." Ms.Kang replied but despite what she said the sharp tone in her voice said otherwise.
"If that was true then I would've laughed with you, would I not?"
"How dare you talk to your boss like that?!" Ms.Kang gasped out loud prompting a chuckle from her secretary and shortly, one of her own.
Their sweet moment lasted for more moments before their laughter died down.
"We should have more moments like that.."
Ms.Kang heard her secretary mumble quietly.
"Hm? Why is that?" She asked.
(YN) turned to her quickly as if he didn't expect her to hear. Ms.Kang wore a confused look on her face, her lips slightly forming a pout.
He briefly thought of a more reasonable reason but he opted to just give her his true thoughts.
"I want to see you happy." He softly told her followed by a sincere smile of his own.
*Thud!*
*Thud! Thud!*
*Thud! Thud! Thud!*
Ms.Kang's heart began beating quickly as if she just ran a mile. She could feel her face fire up and it wasn't because of the temperature of the room.
It was such a simple sentence but it had massive effects on her.
"W-why s-should I-i?" She stuttered out.
"Well for starters, it makes you look more human." Ms.Kang listened intently at his words.
