"I think I'm having a heart attack!~"

An elderly man clutched his chest as they sat on the cushions of a large sofa. His expression was a mix of a little shock and tons of disbelief. His other hand was on his forehead, feeling himself sink deeper into the softness of his seat.

His wife sat next to him yet she didn't pay any attention to him. Instead, she opted to lift the small cup of tea in front of her before sipping on its contents. Placing it down, she looked onwards to the seats before them where two women sat quietly.

The elderly woman smiled at them, a gesture that one of the girls returned while the other looked on rather blankly at the man.

"Please excuse your father, girls. We all know he could be rather...dramatic at times." The woman chuckled at her two daughters.

Despite her reserved nature, she was ecstatic to see the two together, especially that they were in the same room together as sisters.

For many times in the past, they could barely get the two under one roof. One had many reservations at many events and social gatherings before she decided to work abroad and the other always had a meeting to attend to.

"No, It's fine. I think I'm in the mood for some entertainment after the hospital." One of the girls giggled softly.

"Even though he's fine, appa is still acting like this. Maybe we should get him to the hospital? Maybe we should place him in the psych ward." The other one coldly replied.

"I-is that Eunbi and Hyewon sitting next to each other? I must be going mad." The girls' father stuttered out as he now held onto the side of his head.

"Didn't you want your daughters to make up? Now they're sitting in front of you and you're acting like this! Sit up and fix yourself!" Their mother turned towards the elderly man and started hitting his shoulder sternly, earning a chuckle from their daughters.

"Fine, fine, I'm up!" The man pushed her hand away and pushed himself up on the soft seat.

The elderly mother turned to her one daughter and noticed the patched up hand hiding under her sleeve.

"Eunbi-ya, how's your hand?"

"It feels better now, eomma. Stings a bit you can't live through life without getting hurt, right? Now, I'll look for something to eat~" The woman stretched her arms out in the air before she stood up from the couch.

"Yah, let the maids do it. You need to rest." Her sister rested her arm against the side of the couch.

"Oh don't be like that, I bet we can make something nice for dinner~" Eunbi tapped the shoulder of her younger sister before she made her way to the kitchen.

"How about you, Hyewon? Is your secretary doing better now?" The woman turned her head straight to face her mother.

"He's doing better now but he still needs a couple of days to recover. I'll check up on him every day and make sure he gets everything he needs." Hyewon explained sharply as if she was giving out a report.

"You really care a lot about him, don't you? You've already paid for his bills and his medicine and now you want to visit him everyday. This is unlike the Hyewon we know." Her mother chuckled while Hyewon nodded.

It's true that she had basically paid for everything he needed and despite that, she felt like she needed to give him something more, something that will prove to be worthwhile for a lifetime.

"This is the least I could do for his years of service. He has worked hard everyday and has stayed by my side, he deserves this and more. A new car? Perhaps a new home. Maybe even..." Hyewon hesitated before glancing down at her lap.
