Misunderstandings arise when Han (YN), a highly capable secretary, announces that he will resign from his position, after working for Kang Hyewon, an ambitious and narcissistic Vice Chairwoman of one of the largest companies in Korea, for nine years...
Right after the Ms.Kang fed her Secretary, She immediately finished her food. With 15 minutes left to spare, She decided to go back to her office to finish the papers she was working on earlier. As she left the table, she told Han to follow her after he eats then get back to work.
He nodded then proceeded to quickly eat the food on his bowl while chatting with the girl that's left in their table, which was Yuri. He finished the food and placed the tray and bowl back to the front of the cafeteria before he greeted the hamster girl goodbye.
As he swallowed the last few pieces of food in his mouth, he suddenly found himself in a coughing fit. He walked through the exit still coughing and hitting his chest.
Minju noticed this and decided to follow him back. He followed the coughing secretary and called for his attention.
"(YN)-ah! You don't seem to be okay!" She said as she went to his side. He shook his head while still coughing.
"I'm *cough* fine! *cough*" Minju then looked at him with anger. "It's obvious that you're not fine! Let me help you!" She shouted.
"I don't need your help!" Han entered the elevator with Minju on his tail. They both went up with the elevator and when the elevator doors opened, their chase continued until Han reached his table.
Minju suddenly lunged at him and wrapped her arms around his stomach area before doing the heimlich maneuver on him. After a while of doing that, she felt him take deep breaths and his coughing began to subside.
Minju rested her head on his back with her arms still wrapped around him and listened to him take breath after breath. Han stood still and softly took ahold of one of her hands that was wrapped around him. He took his time to catch his lost breath.
They stayed like this for a good minute before the sound of Ms.Kang's office doors opening disrupted them. Minju quickly let go of him and so did he as he let go of her hand.
"Secretary Han, I want you to complete these papers for me~" The pair then saw their boss place a folder containing a small stack of papers on their shared desk. They quickly nodded and went back to their seats as Ms.Kang went back inside of her office.
Han picked up the folder and looked at its contents. "Huh...this is weird.." He mumbled. "What is?" Minju said as she looked over at the papers. "This is already finished.."
Ms.Kang sighed heavily as she went back to her seat. Turns out, she saw everything play out between Han and Minju. Worse oart about that is, she saw Minju smirking at her as if she was teasing her.
The sudden feeling of sadness mixed with anger and the feeling to stop them from continuing their sweet acts rushed throughout her body once more. It was bugging her the whole day.
'What is this new feeling?' She asked herself.
*Timeskip!*
Han was teaching Minju the ropes of the company and everything about Ms.Kang. what she likes to wear, what she likes to eat and the places she likes to go and shop at.
"Ms.Kang isn't really a picky eater..If she asks you for a snack all you need to do is to get a slice of cake in the cafeteria alongside a cup of tea." Han explained as the speaker on his desk started ringing out the voice of his boss.
"Secretary Han, Could you go and grab me a snack please?" Han smiled before looking back at Minju. "You heard that right?" Minju nodded at him with a smile before going to the cafeteria.
After a short while, She came back with a tray in her hands with a plate with a slice of cake on it and a small cup of tea. Han carefully got the tray from her. "I'll deliver this to her~" He said before he pushed through the doors of Ms.Kang's office.
He slowly walked his way toward her desk and set the tray down on a table next to her. "Thank you.." He heard Ms.Kang whisper. He politely bowed and headed to the door until he heard the sound of coughs coming from his boss.
He quickly ran back to her and saw that she was experiencing what he was experiencing earlier. He pulled her out of her seat and did the same thing Minju did to him. After a moment, the coughing stopped and her breathing became stable again.
After taking in a few breaths, she turned around and saw that Han's face was close to hers. She didn't what came into her as she suddenly wrapped her arms around him. As if it was on instinct, Han hugged her back.
Hyewon looked outside of her office and saw Minju staring at them with a wide eyed and a shocked expression plastered on her face. Then that's where the battle for (YN) began.
Hyewon smirked and leaned up to Han's ear and whispered, "Thank you~"
She then let go of him and slipped out of his arms and went back to her seat. "You can go now, Secretary Han." She said as (YN) was still dumbfounded about what happened. He slowly nodded and headed towards the door.
"One last thing, Secretary Han!" Ms.Kang Shouted. Han turned his head to see her standing again.
"I want you and Ms.Minju to stay here for some overnight work~"
