December 10, 1902 Wednesday
The moon held full over the seemingly never-ending maze of high trees and low bushes. Creatures of many kinds were scattered along the environment — those that were nocturnal were out, those that weren't? Weren't.
Two young children steeped through the thick darkness of the woods. On a journey that had just begun, but already seemed like a void. Their guidance nothing but the stars and the overgrown path through the middle forest.
One boy. One girl. The girl; young and with (H/C) hair and big (E/C) eyes. The boy was slightly older with green hair and a downturned frown.
His small hands clenched around the girl's free arm, her other hand holding a dimly lit, handmade torch. His eyes frantically darted from A to B, searching for something evil that resided in the darkness that encased the children. His rising paranoia and anxiety almost created images and forms of demons and monsters in the shadows.
