CHAPTER 18 | Sick

(A/N : there will be a lot of tweeting, just so you know).

@aavalondivine: thanks for getting me sick, cam

@camerondallas: I did not get you sick weirdo. It was the rain's fault.

@aavlondivine: yeah, the rain YOU made us walk through

Cam turns to me and gives me a look. "Hey, you agreed to go out on that date with me."

We walked back to the hotel in the rain. And as a result, both Cam and I got sick. I lost my voice so I had to communicate with Cam another way than talking.

I tweet him because texting is basic.

A notification from IG pops up with the message: hayesgrier took a photo of you.

You know what, I don't care. Hayes can go take a hike on the freeway.

@aavalondivine: hey @camerondallas you wanna switch phones?

Cam looks at me funny. "Why?"

I shrug and take his phone and throw mine at him.

His lock screen is me hugging Jaxx on the floor. His wallpaper is, well now it's a picture of a random table, thanks to me. Woohoo.

I'm a stalker so I decide to go through Cam's pictures.

There are so many pictures of me it's scary.

Cam glances over. His eyes get wide and he grabs his phone away from me. "Ok, here's your phone," he says awkwardly giving me back my phone.

I try to laugh but I just end up coughing, which eventually lead to choking.

Cam gets me a water bottle which I chug down.

Cam gets back into bed and wraps his arms around me, kissing my forehead. "I hope your throat heals soon so I can hear your beautiful voice again."

@aavalondivine: really? bc you always tell me to shut up when I sing at the top of my lungs.

@camerondallas: BUT I LOVE YOU💕

I thought this was ironic because I wrote this chapter last week about Ava and Cam getting sick from the rain, and Ava losing her voice, and then this week Mali lost her voice to, I think, the same reason 😂
