Error watched as Nightmare giggled at the joke Cross just told him. They were a cute couple, he had to admit it. It's just that...

He liked them a bit too much.

But he knew they definitely wouldn't be interested in a poly relationship. Besides, they probably don't like him back either.

He couldn't blame them though. He was anything but pretty and interesting, he also had a stupid phobia, which definitely wouldn't make it easy to get into a relationship.

Error was... terrible.

Atleast that's what he thought of himself.

Error looked away from his friends, wishing they weren't just friends. It would be nice to spend nights with them that weren't just platonic, Errors soul skips a beat as he thinks of the stuff they could do together.

But at the end, it was hopeless.

Error probably doesn't even deserve to be in a relationship, besides, what would he contribute to it? He can't do anything because of his haphephobia.

Error should stop dreaming and actually do something useful. But the thing is, he's useless. What could he do if he can't do anything right?

"Error!"

Error turned to look at Nightmare, who was closer, a bit too close for comfort, than before. The cheerful expression on Nightmares face made Error slightly smile.

"..What is it Nightmare?" Error asks, curious about the reason why Nightmare decided to talk to him.

"I was wondering..." Nightmare trails off with a grin. "I and Cross are going out to eat, do you want to join us?"

What?

Oh no, Error doesn't want to be a third wheel. It isn't nice hearing them flirt or laugh together, it always breaks Errors soul. But atleast they are happy, right? Error sounds really awful, he doesn't want them to break up, but at the same time...

"So, are you going to come along?" Nightmare asks once again, waiting for Error to answer. "I'm sure you know why we are going out to eat something."

Error slightly smiles as he slowly nods, it wasn't surprising to know these guys are horrible at cooking. Error doesn't trust them anywhere the kitchen, but then again, Error doesn't trust himself in a kitchen either.

"..Sure, uh, if it's fine with Cross." Error finally answers Nightmares question. "I don't want to ruin your date."

Nightmares gaze softened as he chuckled at Errors nervousness, thinking of it as somewhat cute. However, Nightmare quickly shuts up, realizing Error probably finds it uncomfortable for Nightmare to suddenly chuckle.

"Oh, don't worry Error!" Nightmare responds to Errors worries. "You're in our squad, besides, ruining our date is definitely not something you should worry about."

Nightmare is kind, too kind in fact. Error doesn't deserve Nightmares kindness or warm smiles. Nevertheless, Error smiles at Nightmare, even if Error knows he's undeserving of Nightmares niceness.

Before Error could speak up, Cross approaches them and starts speaking.

"The thing is," Cross says, making Nightmare and Error look at him. "We're not really sure where to go, so, Error, is there a place you really like?"
