The Dragonpit, King's Landing

132 AC

Elaera and Arryk escape with their lives and important heirlooms: Aegon's crown, Blackfyre, Alysanne's crown, and Jaehaerys's crown.

All there is left to crown Aegon at such short notice is Aenys's crown.

"Princess." a soft voice gasped, and the princess and knight turned to see a small crowd of smallfolk. "Are you escaping?"

"Yes, the coronation is happening in the Dragonpit I presume?" Elaera cronfirmed.

"They are herding us there. What do we need to do." the women, who had brown hair and eyes, inquired.

"I'm getting out with Ser Arryk on Perzysia. Get people ready to run when she roars thrice, stay near the exit!" Elaera instructed.

The women nodded and Elaera entered the Dragonpit, slipping through the crowd to Perzysia's pit. A Dragonkeeper subtly slipped her the keys.

Perzysia! Elaera called down the bond, rushing for her dragon.

Elaera! Perzysia trilled. Sunfyre has been fucking gloating all day long. Tell me we're going to kill him!

We will, eventually. Elaera promised, petting the fire opal scales. She got to work on the chains, swiftly unlocking them before mounting.

"Come, Ser Arryk." she hissed.

The man looked hesitant but carefully inched his way up the dragon. With a small snort, Perzysia let him settle behind her mistress.

Roar three times. Elaera instructed.

The she dragon shrugged and roared once, then twice, and thren thrice. Elaera heard the faint sounds of smallfolk running, and she urged Perzysia up.

With a shriek and battle cry, Perzysia surged up and flared her wings once she was in the main pit.

Elaera turned to the Greens, Perzysia turning her massive head as well. Aegon had obviously soiled himself, Alicent looked ready to faint, Helaena wasn't surprised, Aemond had gone for his sword along with Ser Criston, and Otto was pale faced.

Almost all of the smallfolk had vanished.

"You have started a war you cannot win." the Silver Princess said simply, before turning Perzysia back to the entrance.

With a roar that shook the streets, the Fire Queen took off once she was able to, flying up and straight for Dragonstone.

It was time to plan a war.

That is today's chapter. I hope you all enjoyed it.
