(Freddy's POV)

Freddy waited.

Nothing happened.

For what seemed to be a million years had happened in the time of a few Earth days.

Nothing.

Soon, all at once, that changed.

Light seeped in on Freddy's vision. He squinted, feeling everything as it happened to him.

Instead of an entity, he felt like he actually existed in some way. Feeling returning to his arms and his legs. Freddy was ecstatic. Was he coming back to life?

Soon, his feet formed and he could feel breath in his throat. The only problem was that it wasn't under his own control. He felt like a puppet, only doing what another person wanted him to.

He could see himself in some kind of cave, an intricate network of paths spiderwebbing down a rocky tunnel, light bleeding in from an entrance.

Freddy heard himself laugh, but it wasn't his own voice. It was deeper and held more authority than his regular Junior High aged voice. Then, his new voice spoke. "Oh, I see them coming. I used to not be able to destroy them, but now . . ." His arms went up to his eyes. Freddy expected to see normal apricot colored arms, but instead the arms were purple.

". . . I can."
