Chapter #10: What is That!?

Jimmy was woken up by a rather colorful person playing with his shirt. "Morning." Was all Jimmy was able to say before he let out a yawn. "Good morning Jim <3" Scott smiled up at the sheriff. Before either one could say anything else, they heard someone scream. Both now being completely awake, got up to see what had happened. When they got outside, they saw that it had been Gem who screamed. Scott tried to help her and kept asking if she was alright and what happened, but Gem didn't answer any of Scott's questions. Then, Jimmy heard something. Someone was speaking, but it wasn't English. He knew that language, it's just been so long since he's heard it. As he was translating the mystery language, Scott put his hand on Jimmy's shoulder. "Yes...? Scott?" Scott oonly just pointed at the sky and said, "Jimmy, what is happening to the sky?" Jimmy looked up. 𝘕𝘰... Where Scott was looking, the sky had turned into a dark purple. 𝘞𝘩𝘺... Inside of the purple, eyes had started to appear. 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯... 𝘞𝘩𝘺..? 𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴... 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦... 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘦 𝘢 𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮, 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦... But, no matter how much Jimmy wished it was a dream, he knew that it wasn't...
