Chapter 28: Smile and Distracting him

Y/N was walking to school, minding her own business. She felt a strange feeling that someone is spying on her. So she quickly turned behind her but she didn't see anybody strange. She shrugged and head towards the school. While at school, she still has a small strange feeling that someone is still spying on her. She turns around again but none is there. So she was looking around while walking, still looking for who the spy was until she accidentally bumps into someone. She looks slightly up and it was Vin Jin. "Jesus Vin you scared me for a second! I thought you were Logan for a second." She said. "Oh hey Y/N so about a few days ago-" "Just forget about it, you dork!" I elbowed him. "Fine I was about to say something about it but alright." He shrugged. "Let's not talk about this again." I sighed and looked away from him. He shrugged. We walked together until Logan got surrounded by the boys from the fashion department. Vin Jin smirks at the situation and leans back at the wall. "Oh boy here we go." she thought and sighed. "Need some help?" Vin Jin asked Logan. "I also have a lot of guys I don't like in that class. I think you and I can be great friends." Logan turns around and looks at Vin Jin. "How about it? Let's get those fashion boys!" Vin jin smiled and reach out his hand, waiting for Logan to accept it. Instead, it was the opposite. "Loser, I'm not going to give you and your "Girlfriend" sunglasses boy a free ride." Y/N and Vin Jin looked at him in annoyance. "I told you so," Y/N said. "Shit up you haven't said anything! That asshole." Vin Jin said.

As Logan went into the classroom about to fight the boys but the whole gang of burn knuckles was there, surrounding Logan. Then Logan went to go and hold Vin Jin's hand again. Y/N saw this and laugh her ass off. "Shit it's cold.." Logan said. "Let go of me you pig! Shut up, you only held my hand because after seeing they outnumbered you!" Vin Jin exclaims. "...I just naturally have my hands and feet cold..." "PFFFT HAHAHA!" Y/N went to the ground and the two looked at her. "Get your girlfriend to stop!" Logan said "Shut up she's not my girlfriend. "Stop it this is the second time bro!" Y/N still looked at them and laughed. "Everyone stop." A voice came out and everyone turned and looked at Jace. "Now it's not the time to fight each other now. We need to focus on our enemy, the four major crews. You wanna see this kid detective in action again?" Jace made a whole boring speech about how we have to work together and crap like that. "Take it seriously like me," Jace smirked as Mary touches his ears. "Pfft hahaha! Seriously my ass bro." Y/N said as she crossed her arms. Mary came up to me and Vin Jin with the burn knuckles uniform on.

"Hey guys, don't you think their uniforms rock?" "Hey, I wanna try it," Y/N said. "I join burn knuckles. If I can't protect, it's not Jace's ears!" Mary said it with pride. "Hell yeah, girl!" I said joining her. "Hey take off that jumpsuit you bitch! Y/N don't try to encourage her more!" Vin Jin said to them. The two ladies rolled their eyes. "The four major crews?! Haha, that's cringy as fuck. You would be able to look at me in the eyes if we met in middle school anyways prepare to die." Y/N and Mary looked at him and deadpanned. "You couldn't even look at me in the eyes at middle school either," Mary said. Everyone started to fight except for Y/N, Jace, and Mary, who still keep touching her ears. "Y/N get me the number three goggles since Mary is being a bitch right now!" Vin Jin said. Y/N rolled her eyes and threw him his goggles. Zoe and the tiny version of Daniel walk away. "Can you guys stop fighting over us not liking each? No? Okay keep going I guess." Y/N said sarcastically and watched the brawl.

Y/N pov:

After a few minutes, the brawl has come to an end and everybody got exhausted from the brawl. I sighed and walked up to the middle of the brawl. "Have you all quit now this classroom is a mess now," I said. "No bitch, you're next." Logan was about to tackle me but failed by Vin Jin pushing me out of the way. "Yo Vin Jin what the fuck I was about to dodge that but thanks I guess," I said as he punch Logan in the face. "Okay, you know what." I walked into the brawl again and I grab Vin Jin's back of his shirt, dragging him out. "H-Hey what do you think your doing!? Let go of me!" "No that's enough fighting for today, sunglasses boy," I said as I dragged him out of the situation. "Y/N I could've won!" He said, "Do you think I give a shit about winning over a school fight?" I asked him. "Well... Yeah." He said. I blink twice and sighed. I walked past him to try to find Mary. "Mary? Mary-." "Two things Smile and distract him," Mary said as she smirks, crossing her arms. "Uhh, Mary what are you trying to do?" I asked her. "Y/N just in time to learn," Zoe said. "What are you talking about?" "Mary is teaching us how to make a guy like us." Joy said "..." "You need to learn this too Y/N." Mary said, "Uhh no thanks I think I can do it myself I guess, and it takes time to make a guy fall in love with you." I said as I shrugged. "Don't listen to her, smile and distract the guy like this." Mary demonstrates her smile. Me and the girls gasp and clap. "Mary I didn't know you could do that!" I said. "Distracting him is a skill that makes a guy care about you whenever you're around him. It works instantly." Jace trips and crashes down to the ground as Mary said. Mary helps in instantly. "You dumbass you're so distracting!" Mary yelled at him. "Wow, Jace is distracting her!" Zoe said. "I see it's working on her." Joy agreed with her. "I helped out so gimme your ears now!" As Mary was about to touch his ears Jace moved away from her. "Cut it out, Mary. They're going to think we're going out." Jace said. "Huh?" Mary tilt's her head in confusion. "I don't care about girls. I'm married to the burn knuckles." Jace said as he walks away.

Me and Mary deadpanned him. Vin Jin joined in and laughed. "Hey, Mary. You've been forever alone and you're teaching what hahaha," "Aye, At least she tried." I said. "I can do that with a girl watch me."He smirks. "Pfft as if you can!" I chuckled, and I flicked his forehead.  "Hey stop flicking my forehead!"  He said as he flicked my forehead. Then Me and Vin Jin started to flick each other's forehead. "Wow, that was a great demonstration." Zoe said. "Bro I didn't mean to!" I said as I blush. "Sure ~," Mary said. "I came here in a bad time." I sighed.

It was lunchtime and the girls are doing the method that Mary showed them beside me. I'm just not going to do it I'm going to take it slow and just wait. I looked at Vasco who she's a tear. "Daniel...I'm jealous.." "Mary what did you just started..." I said deadpan at the blond woman. "You guys wanna be like him too?! Well buy my book, "How to get a girl to like you!" Mary shouted at the announcement. "She doesn't even have a boyfriend!" Vin Jin said. "Shut up you don't even have a girl to like you!" Mary yelled at him. "No I got Y/N right here! Isn't that right Y/N?" Vin Jin said as he wrap his arm around my shoulders. "Uhhhh....we're not even dating-" I said. "Damn it Y/N at least pretend to date with me, plus I won't be that bad of a boyfriend anyways!" He turned away from. "Well my bad I guess." I said as I peacefully eat my lunch. "Jesus Y/N you are such a distraction." Vin Jin said in annoyance. "That's Y/N for you folks." Zoe said. "Y/N is really on fire on the smile and distracting method." Joy sighed. "AYE IM NOT EVEN TRYING! DON'T MAKE ME AS A DEMONSTRATOR!" I yelled.
