I always do this para magising ng tuluyan ang diwa ko at para hindi ako aantokin sa biyahe.

I wear my usual attire whenever I go to the gym: a sports bra topped with a loose hanging shirt, black leggings, and a white Fila shoes.

The elevator beeped at agad akong pumasok.

I shrugged my shoulders and went to my usual spot at nag-warm-up muna. I did it for a minute before I positioned myself in front of the punching bag. A loud thud lingered inside the gym room when I started to punch and kick the punching bag. I blew some steam off and caught my breath after ten minutes of punching and kicking.

I sipped on my water and almost choked it off when I saw Arshed walking coolly inside the gym room, wearing a black hoodie and black jogging pants. His eyes directed towards where I was, and I saw him surprised to see me here.

I coughed my ass out and tried to act normal—even though I was about to cough again.

"Günaydın, Kaptan," (Good morning, Captain) he greeted and creased his forehead before he walked towards my direction.

Pilit akong ngumiti kay Arshed.

"Günaydın," I greeted back.

"Are you okay?" he asked instantly.

I scolded myself in my mind and looked away.

"Y-Yeah..." I thrilled off. He nodded at me kaya binalik ko na sa bench and tumbler ko. "I'll continue now." Sabay turo ko sa treadmill.

Arshed nodded at me kaya tumalikod na ako at pinaandar ang treadmill. Arshed does his usual thing bago ito pumwesto sa punching bag katabi noong ginamit ko kanina.

A loud thud roared inside the gym room as Arshed started to punch. I turned on my earbuds and focused on what I was doing, or else I'm going to swim here if I don't mind my own business!

They’ll pressure them for sure, lalo na si Cassimer.

I sighed as I waited for the elevator to open. When it beeped, I went inside and saw Arshed coming in, too. Walang nagsasalita sa amin. Tahimik lang kami habang paakyat ang elevator.

I checked myself against the wall's reflection. I don't look messed up, though. He doesn't look messed up either, and he doesn't smell sweaty. He still smells expensive, just like usual.

Nauna akong lumabas at agad sumunod si Arshed. His room and mine are on the same floor and our rooms are next to each other, mas una nga lang ang sa kanya.
