Chp 21: "Valkyrie: Geirdriful/More"

Currently Leonidas, atreus and mimir were looking at a map where they could look for more valkryies

Atreus: I've got it, it's the little cave by the mountain, I'm sure we can find one there

Leonidas: hmm, you might be right, might as well give it a shot

Mimir: it's gonna be a long walk tho lads

Leonidas: you forget we can always use an ygdrasill door Mimir, we're gonna have to pay our dwarven freinds a visit

Atreus: yes!

After sometime of walking they finally made it to tyrs temple, once they entered they heard the sound of metal clanging against eachother, and the feeling of heat making contact with they're skin, and the smell of smoke, they look over the side to see two dwarven brothers, "brok and sindri"

Brok: well if it ain't the two sack seeds

Sindri: it's good to see you two again, uh please don't hug me

Leonidas: too late

Sindri: no stop!

Leonidas runs up to sindri grappling him into a bear hug as sindri gets a look of disgust and trys to break free from Leonidasa's grasp, while brok was just laughing through the whole sharade

Sindri: oh gods, your sweaty

Leonidas: well that's what hours of walking in the hot sun will do to you

Leonidas says as he puts sindri down

Brok: well I'm guessing you didn't just show up here for a reunion

Atreus: yeah, we need to use the ygdrasill door to the side of the mountain

Brok: why?

Leonidas: valkryie hunting

Sindri: valkryies, oh jeez that's uhmm, a pretty big task, is this you're first one?

Leonidas: no actually, we've killed plenty more

Brok: well well I'll be

Sindri: multiple, how exactly did you two pull that off?

Atreus: we just fought them, then Leo ripped thyre wings off

Sindri: ri... Ripped thyre wings off, that means... The blood got onto you... And you hugged me... Tightly!

Sindri runs off as he vomits in a nearby bucket while brok just shakes his head and faces the two boys

Brok: well you two can use that ygdrasill door, have fun

The boys thank them once again as they use the door to get to the side of the mountain, once they exit the door they begin searching for the door, after sometime of searching they've found the door, leonidas uses his chisel key to open it and they enter the elevator, they start to descend to lower grounds as they spot the Valkyrie, they slowly approach her

Atreus: thyre she is, we doin this?

Leonidas: on my mark

Leonidas unhooks his axe from his back as he charges it up and throws it at the valkryie awakening it, she spreads her wings as she dashes towards Leonidas who dodges out the way recalling his axe, leonidas then starts slashing at the valkryie while Atreus was letting loose on arrows, but the Valkyrie has had enough and shoots a dark beam at leonidas which causes his vision to go dark, Leonidas then uses the light of Helios as his eyes glow bright, he then sees the Valkyrie dashing at him and grabs him by the neck bringing him into the air

Leonidas starts punching the Valkyrie with all his strength causing her to release him, while he was falling leonidas summons his wings as his fists engulf in flames, Leonidas dashes at her giving off multiple blows, he then finishes her off by charging up his fist and punching her downwards,
She begins falling to the floor landing on the solid grounds while Atreus shoots some arrows at her hands trapping her, Leonidas then lands on her back grabbing her wings and ripping them off, as the Valkyrie screams in pain she passes out dying, Leonidas steps off the corpse as the Valkyries spirit rises from the body

Geirdriful: you have freed me

Leonidas: mam'n, do you know who did this to you?

Geirdriful: I remember... Only pain, and my queen she... Locked me down here, but why?

Mimir: ah.. sigrun

Mimir says with a sigh

Geirdriful: I must leave you now, I must find her, I must.. remember

The Valkyrie says as her spirit disappeares, leaving the three

Leonidas: sounds like you're ex is responsible Mimir

Mimir: aye, when I saw he last she was.. different, changed and not just that she was in physical form, she was more.. volatile, she.. I tried to talk to her about it but... She had just came to say goodbye, I didn't think

Atreus: I'm sorry Mimir, we'll find her

Mimir: not sure she wants to be found, I just don't understand why she would do this, it doesn't make a lick of sense

Leonidas: so what will we do if she is responsible?

Mimir: then we'll have to stop her, the Valkyries must be freed and we're the only ones capable

Atreus: you got that right

Leonidas: then we'll have to take our time with this, let's get home before it's late, don't want Mandalay to worry

Mimir: aye

The trio enter the elevator but when they make it to the surface, the ygdrasill door that they used was gone

Atreus: uhmm, where's the door?

That was when leonidas heard screaming from the mountain top

Leonidas: you hear that

Atreus: yeah

Leonidas grabs atreus as he summons his wings and flys to the top of the mountain

(A/n: atreus is currently thirteen at this point in the story)
