Chp 24: "Confrontation/A pleasant suprise"

Present mic: TIMES UP!!

Present mic shouted out as everyone stopped in they're tracks, the crowd cheered as everyone separated from they're teams, Leonidas hopped off of his team as he went to catch his breath

Kendo: we did it guys

Tetsutetsu: heck yeah we did

Tokage: glad I was on your guy's team

Leonidas: good job you guys

They all fistbumped eachother, bakugo was currently on the ground face first as his teammates ran up to him

Kirishima: bakugo, you okay man?

Bakugo just angrily slams his fists on the ground like a three year old

Todorokis team departs as well as todoroki had a disappointed look on his face

Present mic: now let's take a look at who our top 14s are, in fist place we have team laufey with they're remaining ten million points

Leonidas: hell yeah

Everyone on Leonidasa's team cheered as they gave a group hug

Present mic: in second place team todoroki

Yaoyorozu: "sigh" not as good as first place, but it's still a good spot

Present mic: in third place, team bakugos

Mina: ughh, we were so close to first place

Sero: eh sure, but were moving on, so it's all good

Kirishima: I don't think our leader would agree with you, like at all

Bakugou just screams out loud, present mic announces the rest of the teams as he says they would start an hour break for the contestants before the finals, currently leonidas and his friend group were talking with eachother

Asui: how disappointing

Leonidas: hey you did well out thyre, do t be so hard on yourself Tsu

Asui: I know, but still congrats to you guys, you've earned it

Tokage: thanks, but you clearly earned the spotlight too asui, I'm sure alot of heros would be recommending to you when this is over

Asui: I'm sure

Leonidas left the group for a bit to use the bathroom, when he got out he was confronted by todoroki

Todoroki: laufey, I wanna talk to you

Currently they were in a hallway where they could talk in private, todoroki was just giving Leonidas a cold stare making Leonidas uncomfortable

Leonidas: you brought me here to tell me something, so tell me

Todoroki: I was overwhelmed, and I almost broke the promise I made a long time ago, your power is very unique in its own way and I've never seen anything like it, and the power that kendo produced felt the same as allmights, laufey tell me are you and kendo secretly related or something, and all might is your father?

Leonidas was dumbstruck for a moment until he shook his head quickly

Leonidas: what no no, we're not related and all mights not my dad, me and kendo are just really good friends, and to be honest I don't really know if all might is kendos dad

Todoroki: I see, then do you come from a family who are hero's?

Leonidas looked down for a moment looking a bit depressed

Leonidas: you could say that

Todoroki: then that's my reason to why I need to beat you, my father is the hero endeavor you must've heard of him, which means you're aware that he's the number two hero, my old man is ambitious he aims for the top, he used his power to make a name for himself as a hero, but he was never able to best all might, so the symbol of peace is living proof of his failure

Leonidas was listening carefully from todoroki

Todoroki: he's still at it tho, dying to take down all might one way or another, hell even take down other heros to get what he wants, he has no patience for others

Leonidas: okay, but what does this have to do with me, what are you trying to say?

Todoroki: have you ever heard of quirk marriage's, they became a problem In the first few generations after superpowers became wide spread, there were those who sought out potential mates souly with the intention to make powerful children, many people were forced into relationships, they were simply viewed as old fashioned arranged marriages, but clearly was unethical

Todoroki went on about his family drama, about how his mother went mad over the arrangement and denying to use his left side

Todoroki: I'm going to show him I can reject his power, and I can take first place without using it

Leonidas looks at todoroki with determination, but todoroki walks away

Todoroki: you're obviously connected to a powerful hero, even if you won't tell me about it, but know this I will defeat you using only my right side

Todoroki walks off as Leonidas uses his speed to catch up to todoroki grabbing him by the shoulder spinning him around

Leonidas: if you honestly think you have any right telling me you can beat me if your not gonna give it you're all, then I'll take it as an insult, but if this is the exact reason you only came to ua, then I don't see any hope for you as a hero, remember you started a war pal, and I'm gonna win this war

Leonidas says coldly as he walks off to regroup with his friends, todoroki just stares at Leonidasa's back and walks off

On the way to regroup with his friends he bumps into kendo

Kendo: oh hey Leo, where were you?

Leonidas: uhmm, bathroom

Kendo: oh, we'll come on we saved you a seat at the cafeteria

Leonidas: nice

The two then walk to the cafeteria together as they start small talk, then Leonidas asks a question that catches kendo off guard

Leonidas: hey kendo, I got a question

Kendo: shoot

Leonidas: are you all mights daughter or something, I notice how much you spend time with him?

Kendo was starstruck after that question

Kendo's mind: am I....what!?

Kendo: no no you got It all wrong Leo, all might is just my mentor that's all, I promise you got the wrong idea, but why do you ask?

Leonidas: eh, just curious

Leonidas says sounding innocent

After the two made it to the cafeteria they enjoyed they're meals as they're group laughed and joked around, after Leonidas and his friend group finished eating, they all went to check out the conscetions and attractions around the sports festival, but when they were at one of the conscetions Leonidas felt a small stone hit the back of his head

Leonidas: ow!

Leonidas and his group turns around as they hear laughing from behind a pillar, Leonidas walks towards the pillar while his group followed, when he saw who was behind he had a look of surprise

Leonidas: atreus?
