Chp 29: "Leonidas vs Kendo"

After the match between Leonidas and bakugou, the staff took another break to repair the arena after that huge explosion they bothe created, Leonidas was walking through the halls on his way back to the stands, once he made it back up he was showered with praises

Kirishima: that fight was crazy Leo, you really showed bakubro who's boss

Kaminari: who taught you how to do a German suplex like that, it was crazy

Mina: I didn't know you were so athletic Leo, awesome

Leonidas smiles as he takes his seat next to me kendo

Kendo: that was quite a fight

Leonidas: thanks, looks like you're up against kirishima next then huh

Kendo: yeah but don't worry, I won't hurt your friend too bad

Kirishima: hey

The group laughs at the encounter

Kaminari: so how do you think bakugou is taking the loss?

Leonidas: probably...breaking something right now

Meanwhile bakugou in his waiting room:

Leonidas: nah I think he's taking it responsibly

It was now the match between kendo and kirishima, the two teens both enter the arena as present mic does introductions

Kirishima: don't hold back, I wanna see if you can pack a punch

Kendo: oh I can, I assure you

Present: and....GO!

Kirishima hardens his body as he rushes forward, but Kendo's body starts to emit orange electricity as she dashes towards kirishima enlarging her right fist giving him a powerful strike, kirishima shields himself as he's pushed back several meters, but when kirishima looked up kendo was nowhere to be seen, that was until he was kicked in the face from above, pushing him right out of bounds

Midnight: kirishima is out of bounds, kendo advances to the final match

The crowd cheers as kendo goes to help up kirishima, taking him to the infirmary, everyone in the stands cheers as Leonidas looks up at the bracket seeing that he would be facing kendo in the final match, that's when he gets a flashback about the conversation they had back at ua

Flashback:

Leonidas: but you'll get noticed too kendo, you're crazy strong in battle from what I've seen

Kendo: I guess, but I'm not gonna waste this opportunity and I won't be holding back on you in the festival

Leonidas: you better not

Flashback end

Leonidas smiles to himself until mina breaks his thoughts process

Mina: ooohhh, looks like the tiger is gonna take on his tigress~

Mina said in a teasing manor putting a mild blush on Leonidasa's face

Leonidas: w-why did you say it like that, and no no we're just friends mina!?

Mina: sure, whatever you say

Mina says with her iconic sly toothy grin

lida: I can't wait to see the outcome between the both of you in this fight

Leonidas looks towards lidas direction giving him a smile and nod, but lidas whole body begins to shake

Leonidas: woah are you okay!?

lida: it's just my phone

Leonidas sighs in relief as lida looks at his phone in confusion

lida: sorry I must take this

lida says as he goes to a private spot to speak on the phone, Leonidas looks on at his friend feeling concerned for him

Leonidas was currently in the hallway of the entrance to the arena warming himself up as Atreus was hyping him up

Atreus: you got this

Leonidas: I do got this

Atreus: you totally got this

Leonidas stops his warm up as he looks at the entrance taking a deep breath as he nods towards Atreus who runs off to find a good seat, Leonidas walks out to the arena as the audience cheers out loud

Present mic: it's finally time for the last battle of the ua high school sports festival, the top of the first years will be decided with this one, for this match we have from the hero course Itsuka Kendo up against also from the hero course Leonidas Laufey

The two teens walk onto the arena as Leonidas was the first to speak

Leonidas: don't hold back on me

Kendo: that was my promise right

Leonidas chuckles as he gets into a fighting stance and kendo doing the same

Present mic: ready...and...CLASH!!

(Play music)

The orange electricity surrounds kendo as she dashes towards Leonidas as Leonidas summons his wings doing the same, once the two were in close quarters Leonidas goes for a strike but kendo uses her speed to dodge it, she then uses her speed to give quick strikes on Leonidas, but Leonidas uses his speed to match hers

After landing a few strikes on her he engulfs his fist into flames then landing another strike on her sending her back a few feet, Leonidas then summons a sphere of lightning then dashing towards her and begins to give strikes to kendo with the bolt as if it was a sword, after the final blow it sends kendo back on one knee she gets up taking a few breaths

Kendo: thought that bolt would be a bit sharp?

Leonidas then summons his wings as he jumps into the air about to throw the bolt at kendo, but kendo uses her speed to dodge it then jump up into the air at Leonidas giving him a few strikes then kicking him to the floor, kendo goes for a ground slam on Leonidas but he rolls out of the way, once Leonidas gets up his eyes begin to glow blue as water begins to surround him

Leonidas starts to spin around as the water turns Into a giant water tornado, Leonidas dashes out of it as he sends it towards kendo who enlarges her fist and puts it in a flicking motion, as she flicks her large fingers the wind pressure was able to push the waternado back as leonidas shields himself with his wings, once Leonidas unfolded his wings from his view, kendo dashes towards him giving him a strike

Kendo: Detroit smash!

The strike sends Leo back a few feet as he stops himself, claws start to grow and fangs appear in his teeth, he looks up as flames surround his head but his eyes were glowing a fiery blue and his right arm formed the same blue flame

Leonidas: hit me with all you've got, because I can take it!!

Leonidas gets on all fours as he runs towards kendo, he then summons his wings as he launches himself up into the air, kendo then uses her speed as she jumps up into the air towards Leonidas realign her fist back as red marks begins to cover it, the two teens the yell out thyre schools famous motto

Leonidas/kendo: PLUS ULTRA!!

The two teens strike eachother as it creates a giant shockwave almost sending people out of thyre seats,once things calmed down it's shown that kendo was out of bounds by just a foot while Leonidas was still in the arena

Midnight: Itsuka Kendo is out of bounds, Leonidas Laufey is the winner of this year's sports festival
