Chapter 29

It was the day of the bond sealing between Taehyung and Jungkook. It was their engagement day. More like night, they chose it to be conducted at night.

Taehyung sat in the room assigned for him with Yoongi smirking at him.

"Stop it, you creep!" Taehyung huffed and rolled his eyes. "I know you want to act strong. Damn you can actually do that y'know?" Yoongi said earning Taehyung's all attention.

"What do you mean?" He asked with a frown. "Jungkook acts all tough right? Maybe he is tough. But you can't just back away Taehyung. You should give him what he deserves." Yoongi said and somehow it sounded really convincing to Taehyung.

"What am I supposed to do then?" He asked, as his shoulders relaxed. "I have a plan." Yoongi said and started elaborating his plan.

At the end, Taehyung nodded in understanding. It seems like Yoongi doesn't really like Jungkook, well it's same with Jimin. Even though he respects Taehyung doesn't mean he is fond of him. Finally Yoongi and Taehyung smirked and decided to start their plan from today onwards.

Meanwhile in the room where Jungkook's makeup was being done. Taeri and Jinha were also present, staring or more like admiring him. But he wasn't interested in their stares. His mind was still plotting against Kims. More like against Kim Taesung and his son.

"Jungkook, stop frowning!" Jinha scolded him. "Mom, it's not a big deal." He said in sheer boredom.

"Yes Mrs.Jeon, he doesn't really need makeup to glow." Taeri said with a soft smile. "I know but still." Jinha said while sighing.

"This boy is just..." Jinha trailed but didn't complete the sentence when she saw Jungkook's sharp gaze at her. But someone else did.

"He is a, brat!"

The ladies looked at the door and saw Jimin all ready in his outfit. He walked towards Jungkook and patted his back with a grin.

"Are you excited baby?" He asked in a teasing tone. "Yeah ofcourse I'm!" Jungkook exclaimed when he realised Taeri and Jinha were also present there.

Both the ladies just chuckled and helped Jungkook in arranging his overcoat which he wore on the backless top and tight pants with the whole outfit of combination of red and black.

In the hall-

Taehyung waited for his mother to come with Jungkook. They were taking an eternity. He was present there since an hour or so. Looked like Jungkook was purposely coming late.

His thoughts were stopped when he light music started playing. He looked at the main door and there he saw Jungkook alone, standing there with a smirk.

Jungkook looked devilishly beautiful to Taehyung. He licked his lips and took a deep breathe to calm himself. While Jungkook started walking in a confident way, head held high. His graceful walk made media his fan. They were also present, clicking tons of pictures of Jungkook walking in glory was now their new found forte.

When he reached near Taehyung, he stopped. This was the cue for Taehyung so he came up to him and forwarded his hand. Accepting that, Jungkook walked with him and Taeri and Jinha then joined the crowd.

Yoongi came with a mic for Taehyung but Jungkook took it from him and himself gave it to Taehyung, delivering his most genuine smile which made reporters swoon over him. Taehyung was dazed by this act of his fiancee but said nothing and returned the smile with same energy.

"Hello everyone. Thank you for being present here. This is the most memorable moment of my life and you all joining is the best gift for me. Please give us your blessings. Hope you enjoy." Taehyung said and returned the mic.

The engagement ceremony then started. Two kids came up to them bearing two diamond rings. First one forwarded it towards Jungkook who took it. He then looked at Taehyung with an unreadable gaze. But this didn't affect Taehyung anymore. He was used to this. Taking Taehyung's hand in his, Jungkook finally put the ring in his ring finger and later squeezed his palm.

"You are stuck. 50%" Jungkook mumbled in low tone, the smile not even wavering. What an expert.

Taehyung just smirked at the statement and took the ring from other kid. He held Jungkook's hand caressed it, staring at it with a soft yet fierce gaze. Then finally put the ring and kissed his hand as an act of respect and loyalty. Which was true.

This action shook Jungkook who stared at Taehyung with a pale and shocked face. The media found it adorable so they clicked the pictures of the now soon to be wedded couple.

"100% stuck with me now." Taehyung said in a hushed tone which caused goosebumps to raise on Jungkook's skin. He felt a cold shiver running through his spine.

"Well, stuck together..." He mumbled back and then avoided his gaze. Taehyung found it cute that Jungkook was now nervous. Their parents just sighed.

"God help them please." Taeri prayed and Jinha nodded.

"They will work it out." Taesung said with a confident smile while Jungmin hoped same.

The media soon started posting about how a famous writer is now going to marry a high class psychiatrist.

They labelled them as Most Powerful Couple while Jungkook felt it should be like Most Awful Couple.

But why even thinking that made him feel bad. It felt wrong to think like that but he didn't let it affect him.

They were the fakest couple in the world from his perspective.

Taehyung and Jungkook then seperated their ways with their respective families after a good dinner.

The wedding was now due in 2 weeks and everyone were so ready for it.

Whether it be Taehyung or it be Jungkook. Both were so very much ready for it.
