Hyunjin sat alone on a bench in the park, watching the children playing in the distance. He was lost in thought, enjoying the quiet moment when he was suddenly startled by a little girl who plopped down next to him, holding out a lollipop.

"Here," she said, offering the candy to him with a big smile.

Hyunjin was taken aback, not sure how to respond to this unexpected gesture. He looked up and saw a man rushing over to them.

"I'm so sorry," the man said, scooping up the little girl. "She can be a bit too friendly sometimes."

Hyunjin shook his head. "It's alright, I didn't mind," he said with a smile.

The man, Seungmin, apologized again before walking away with his daughter. Hyunjin couldn't help but watch as they left, wondering who they were and if he would ever see them again.

Days turned into weeks, and Hyunjin found himself going to the park more often, hoping to run into Seungmin and his daughter. Each time, he would look for them, but they were nowhere to be found.

One day, as he was about to leave the park, he spotted them sitting on a bench across from him. He felt a sudden rush of excitement as he made his way over to them.

"Hi again," he said, a bit awkwardly.

Seungmin smiled. "Hey there, I remember you. Thanks again for being so kind to Seoyun the other day."

Hyunjin nodded. "Of course, she's a sweet kid."

Seungmin laughed. "She can be a handful sometimes, but she has a big heart."

As they chatted, Hyunjin realized that he was enjoying Seungmin's company more than he had expected. They had a natural ease with each other, and he found himself wanting to know more about him.

Over the next few weeks, they continued to run into each other at the park. They would sit and talk while Seoyun played nearby, and Hyunjin started to feel like they were becoming friends.

But he couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more between them. He found himself thinking about Seungmin at odd moments, wondering if he felt the same way.

One day, as they were saying goodbye, Hyunjin took a deep breath and mustered up the courage to ask Seungmin out.

"I know this might sound sudden, but would you want to grab a cup of coffee with me sometime?"

Seungmin looked at him for a moment, and Hyunjin's heart sank as he thought he might have misread the signals. But then Seungmin smiled, and Hyunjin's heart soared.

"I'd like that," he said.

As they parted ways, Hyunjin couldn't help but feel like this was just the beginning of something sweet and exciting.

Over the next few weeks, they continued to meet up for coffee, chatting about their lives and interests. Hyunjin found himself feeling more and more drawn to Seungmin, but he still wasn't sure if Seungmin felt the same way.

One day, they were sitting in a cozy café, sipping their lattes and talking about their favorite books when Seungmin spoke up.

"I have to admit something to you, Hyunjin. I didn't just happen to run into you at the park that day," he said, his voice quiet.

Hyunjin raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Seungmin took a deep breath. "I actually saw you there a few times before, and I asked Seoyun to give you that lollipop as an excuse to talk to you."

Hyunjin was surprised, but he couldn't help but feel a wave of happiness wash over him. "Really?"

Seungmin nodded. "I wanted to get to know you, but I didn't know how to approach you. So I used my daughter as an excuse."

Hyunjin chuckled. "Well, it worked. I'm glad you did."

Seungmin smiled, and they sat in comfortable silence for a few moments. Hyunjin could feel the tension building between them, and he wondered if this was the moment he had been waiting for.

Finally, Seungmin spoke up again. "Hyunjin, I know we've been taking things slow, but I have to tell you how I feel. I'm starting to fall for you."

Hyunjin's heart skipped a beat, and he felt a rush of emotion flood through him. "Seungmin, I feel the same way," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Seungmin's smile grew wider, and he reached across the table, taking Hyunjin's hand in his. "I'm so glad," he said, squeezing Hyunjin's hand gently.

As they finished their coffee and said goodbye, Hyunjin couldn't help but feel like this was the start of something wonderful. They had gone from strangers to friends to something more, and he couldn't wait to see where their journey would take them.
