Seungmin had always been content to play in the background, letting his teammates take the spotlight. As the setter for JYP High's volleyball team, he was used to being overlooked. But he didn't mind - as long as they won, that was all that mattered.

And win they did, thanks in no small part to Hwang Hyunjin, one of the top aces in all of Seoul. Hyunjin's spikes were legendary, and teams nationwide would freeze up at the mere mention of JYP High's name in their seed. But little did they know, without Kim Seungmin, the silent setter, Hyunjin would be a mess.

Seungmin was the glue that held the team together. He kept everyone's heads level and made sure they were always in sync. And when Hyunjin needed a confidence boost, Seungmin was always there to feed his ego.

But Seungmin had a secret. He had been crushing on Hyunjin for years, but he never thought that Hyunjin felt the same way. They were teammates and friends, nothing more.

One day, after a particularly grueling practice, Seungmin and Hyunjin were the only ones left in the gym. Seungmin was packing up his bag when Hyunjin approached him.

"Hey, Seungmin, can I talk to you for a second?" Hyunjin asked, looking a little nervous.

Seungmin nodded, curious as to what Hyunjin wanted to say.

"I just wanted to say thank you," Hyunjin began, his cheeks turning pink. "I know I can be a bit of a diva sometimes, but you always know how to handle me. You make me a better player and a better person, and I don't know what I'd do without you."

Seungmin felt his heart swell with affection. Hyunjin was always so confident and sure of himself, it was rare to see him vulnerable like this.

"I'm just doing my job," Seungmin replied with a small smile.

Hyunjin shook his head. "No, it's more than that. You're special, Seungmin. You're the best setter I've ever had the pleasure of playing with, and I appreciate you more than you'll ever know."

Seungmin felt his heart skip a beat. Was Hyunjin flirting with him? Or was he just being a good friend?

Before he could say anything, Hyunjin spoke again. "I know you're probably wondering why I'm saying all of this. It's because...well, I've been feeling something more for you lately, and I just couldn't keep it to myself anymore."

Seungmin's heart leapt into his throat. Hyunjin felt the same way?

"Hyunjin, I...I don't know what to say," Seungmin stammered, feeling a little overwhelmed.

Hyunjin's expression turned serious. "I know it's against the rules to date as teammates, but I can't ignore my feelings for you any longer. I want to be with you, Seungmin."

Seungmin felt his heart soar with happiness. He had been crushing on Hyunjin for so long, but he never thought that Hyunjin would feel the same way.

"I want to be with you too, Hyunjin," Seungmin said, feeling a weight lifted off his shoulders.

They both knew that dating as teammates was against the rules, but they couldn't ignore their feelings any longer. As they left the gym together, hand in hand, Seungmin couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. They still had to keep their relationship a secret, but at least they had each other. And who knows, maybe one day they could tell the team and everyone else about their love.

As they walked through the school hallways, Hyunjin couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear. He felt like he was on top of the world. He had finally confessed his feelings to Seungmin and Seungmin felt the same way. It was like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

"I can't believe it," Hyunjin said, still in disbelief. "I never thought you would feel the same way."

Seungmin squeezed his hand. "I've been crushing on you for years, Hyunjin. I just never thought you would feel the same way."

They reached Seungmin's locker and he quickly grabbed his bag. "We should probably keep our relationship a secret for now," Seungmin said, looking around to make sure no one was listening. "But I promise, I'll make it up to you."

Hyunjin chuckled. "You don't have to make it up to me, Seungmin. You've already made me the happiest guy in Seoul."

Seungmin blushed at the compliment. "I'm just glad we can be together now."

They walked out of the school building, hand in hand, and Seungmin couldn't help but feel grateful for the sport that brought them together. Volleyball may have been the reason they met, but it was their love for each other that would keep them together.
