Lucy's P.O.V.

Click-Click-Click-Click, as the footsteps came closer I couldn't help but hold my breath. The figure came closer, although it was hard to make out what i was seeing. Everything seemed blurry. All I could focus on was the footsteps. For a second I realized I should be scared, I should be screaming; but I wasn't. My heart wasn't racing and my eyes were dry. I was so calm the color resurfaced to my face and I was breathing at a regular pace. Then the footsteps stopped. The dullness was brightened by the now active bulbs and the room fell silent. I stared at the shoes that only stood five feet away from me. Completely ignoring the body currently occupying them. The only other thing my attention latched onto was the purple pant legs laying over the top of the shoes. The shade was comical and loud.

My attention was soon torn away as a voice interrupted my witty thought process. "You....." The man spoke in an eery tone. Which caused my head to bolt upward. I didn't dare look him in the eye, so instead I focused on his white painted ear that was in a jungle of green hair.

Although he'd stopped speaking for awhile, it didn't last long. "Do you know who you are?" As he said this...he almost sounded human. Too bad I was still drunk and in way too much pain to be kind.
"I sure as hell hope so. After all I've been telling everyone my name's Lucy all these years." I might've been overly sarcastic, but he didn't seem to mind.
"Glad we could clarify." He grinned much too widely. I knew my face must've had at least a slight hint of disgust on it when that overly wide smile turned into a frown.
"You don't look too good kiddo." He wasn't mad, he was concerned.

"What......the....hell..." I groaned. A few moments later I opened my eyes, only to be blinded by light.
"Hey, you awake?" Said a familiar male voice.
"No, I'm dead." I responded.
"Well you shouldn't be. because your best friends going to die if we don't find her." It was only then I realised he was being serious.

10 minutes later

"They didn't.......holy shit they did...." I wasn't supposed to be on my feet, but I couldn't help but pace while I panicked.
"We need to go find her. Now." I said as I looked at the guy I now knew as Vince and pleaded over and over again.
"We can't leave till you get discharged." He took a deep breath after he spoke.
"Great, then I'm going to get discharged, right now." I was almost out the door when he stopped me.
" You're a minor. Your parents have to discharge you, so you have stay here until they arrive." He gave me an apologetic look as he delivered the news.
"Dammit...." I guess my response wasn't exactly expected, but what can I say, mommy and daddy Wayne aren't on my good side right now.

Before I new it they'd removed the shard from my side. Good news, it was a slight relief. Bad news, it had left my large intestine in a pretty nasty condition.

What made it worse? I was awake the entire time.

"Stop......please..." I couldn't hold myself together. The amount of pain I felt, was more than I'd ever felt. That's the shitty thing about pain, it demands to be felt. Which is dumb as fuck.

"She'll pass out from blood loss soon, we'll need someone to go get some blood bags." The person currently with his hands INSIDE my side said as calmly as sanely possible.
"Alright, we'll go find some." The what I learned to call 'Hench-men' said.
"Don't you need my blood type?" I asked trying to stay conscious.
"Shhhhh, we have it covered. Just save your energy for recovery." The man in the purple suit said as he took my hand.
"Are my friends okay.......?" I asked. Moments later I was unconscious and out of my mind scared.

Writers note
So the Wayne's are coming to the city? Who excited? Also who thinks Lucy will live? At this point even I don't have that information unfortunately. So bear with me and goodnight.
