CHAPTER- 56

Roseline's Pov

I've loved my baby the moment I knew he's in my womb. But holding him in my arms after everything happened, felt like I was in a dream which I never wanted to wake up from ever. The pain I went through, all the tears I shed, is forgotten the moment I held him

"My baby" I couldn't help the tears ran down my cheeks as I stared at him. Alex stood by my side holding  my shoulders gazing at our baby

"You can feed him once he wakes up. I will tell you what to do and how" the nurse said whose presence I forgot for a minute and I nodded. The nurse explained me how to do everything and left

Bringing my baby upto my lips, I pressed a gentle kiss on his forehead
He's soundly sleeping and I took my time to observe him. He had the same hair colour as Alex, cute little nose, small chubby cheeks, pink lips, little arms and little legs...... my beautiful baby. And he looks much like Alex when he was a baby

Alex leaned down to my head level and pressed his lips on our sons forehead affectionately. He had tears in his eyes as he caressed our sons chubby little cheeks

Suddenly the little guy yawned and slowly opened his eyes making me gasp in surprise

"He got your eyes" Alex instantly said with a smile

"God I love you so much" Alex suddenly said and kissed me on my lips. And our baby decided to interrupt his father with a cry. His beautiful eyes filled with tears as he stared up at us.

"He's hungry" I said while caressing his head and Alex nodded in affirmation

"I will help you" he said and I nodded in response. With that he came and stood beside my left and untied the knot of my gown, there by freeing my breast. I brought my baby upto to my chest and as an instict he latched on to my breast. His cries muffled and only his wet eyes were looking at me now intently as he kept nursing on me. And I kept caressing his chubby cheeks with a smile on my lips.

Looking up I saw Alex glancing down at us. My chest was exposed and right infront of him. But there wasn't a hint of lust in his eyes. All I saw in those beautiful green orbs was love and happiness. I gave him a smile while feeding our baby

"Don't you want to hold him?" After a while I asked Alex in a small voice making sure that I'm not disturbing our baby. Alex took a seat beside me on the bed and i leaned on to his shoulder

"I want to. But what if he wakes up?"

"I don't think so. He's a heavy sleeper I guess" i chuckled looking at our baby who fell asleep with my breast still in his mouth. I detached him from me

"Here, take him" I cooed looking at our baby and I handed him
carefully over to Alex. And it was hilarious to see how a businessman who is known to be arrogant and rude holding his baby nervously and fearfully. I could even see the sweat formed on his forehead making me laugh

Alex looked up and narrowed his eyes at me

"What?"

"It's hilarious to see you holding our baby like you're doing a heavy task. I mean I never saw you this much nervous or scared even for a business deal" I shook my head while covering myself up

Alexander's POV

I got scared Seeing Rose all stressed out and panicked. I didnt know what to do else than try calming her down. But nothing worked until she saw our baby with her own eyes. Relief washed over me after seeing Rose holding our baby in her arms as she kept observing his little face with tears on her eyes. I knew these two are my world and I will protect them both from any harm even if it costs my own life.
