CHAPTER: 19

ALEXANDER'S POV

"Alex" I was once again brought back from my thoughts and I looked at the owner of the voice

"Michael?" A friend of mine who stood at the door. He was at the hospital when I got there with my Rose

"Your phone" he held it out for me to take

I frowned a little

You left it at hospital. I found it and brought it back to you here.

I gave him a nod.

"And Alex when I was nearly here your phone was ringing constantly.i didn't see who was it".

He couldn't see because my phone was kept locked. Only I can open it

As I heard that, I unlocked my phone thinking what if it's from there?

I looked through the call log.
Finally I saw it. I called back but none answered the call. I couldn't stand here anymore. So I grabbed the car keys and ran toward where the car is parked

I heard footsteps behind me. It was Michael who was calling my name nonstop

But I didn't wait, I didn't stop. I reached the parking area and get in the car and started it to get to the place, to where I should be now. Once I reached there I ran to the office room where the person can answer my questions.

I opened the door to the office with a force. He looked up from the file he was checking. He lowered his eye glass and said,

"Mr Richardson" he shot up from his seat, taking the file with him

He walked out with i walking beside him and stopped Infront of a particular door. I looked through the window of the door and. . . . And I saw her, my wife, lying in a bed with oxygen mask on her face.

"Doctor, what the hell, why is she not conscious yet?"

"Mr Richa...."

He didn't even get to finish. I grabbed him by his collor

"WHY???? WHY IS SHE NOT AWAKE YET? Its been two days, you hear me?TWO DAYS she has been unconscious.You called me and I. . . . And I thought you brought her back to concious state " my voice was low when I said the last part. But I was furious too

"Mr Ri- Richardson ple - please ca- calm down"

Someone grabbed my shoulders from behind

I turned around to see Stephen standing next to me. I shrugged my shoulders releasing his hold on my shoulder and I glared at the doctor.

"Alex calm down"

"Don't. Tell. Me. To. Calm. Down. Stephen"

"And tell me why should I ? Why should I calm the hell down? Huh? When they did not do anything to make her okay till now?"

Sighing he walked toward the door of intensive care unit and looked inside through the small window.

When my Rose was admitted here they told that her lungs were filled with water and they did everything they can and said she will be fine
But still she's unconscious laying in a hospital bed. The doctor said she will wake up soon, maybe in one or two day. I never left hospital till few hours back today so that I can shower and Change.

"Doctor why did you called?" Stephen asked

'Doctor called Stephen too? But why?' I thought

"It's just that someone came here and asked about her" he said pointing toward the door
