Author's POV

"So how are you two doing?" Jess asked Rose who was sitting in the balcony all moody. It was yesterday Alex called her and invited her over to be with Rose as he was going for an important meeting which he could not postpone. From Last two weeks he has been pretty busy with new projects. And she was okay with that as she wanted some alone time to gather herself before deciding anything.

Jess was happy to see her friend after few weeks. She herself was in need of a change so she decided to stay at Roseline's house for a week or two, spending time with her best friend

"Rose" she again called her when rose didnt respond at first. She stared at the girl who was sitting Infront of her like a statue.
"Ye-yeah did you say something Jess?" Jess had a frown on her face

"Are you okay Rose? Do you have any problems with Alex?" It's been two week after the gala and Rose was sad and scared at heart. Because of that she became all distant from Alex and others. And she knew it did hurt him. But she couldn't bring herself to be happy as Amanda's thoughts troubled her. Even Alex was confused and hurt by her behaviour. But he decided to give her some space not wanting her to stress over anything

"What ? No I don't have any problem with Alex" She partially lied not wanting to make her friend worry about her. "Why would you ask me something like that?"

"Nothing. just felt like something is wrong seeing your moody ass" at that Rose made a pouting face making Jess smirk in turn. Even though Jess seemed teasing and smirking there was something wrong and Rose could see that in her eyes. She wanted to ask her but chose not to

"By the way love how about we go out?"

"No, I'm not in a mood Jess"

"You mommy bear, you better get up and follow me to the mall" Jess ordered looking at Rose who has a whining like face but still she had a smile hearing her new name by jess

"Why now? It's boring" on that Jess made a shocked face before replying

"Oh Yeah? I will tell you what's boring.... it's boring to sit alone in a huge ass house with nothing to do. Plus shopping is fabulous, fantastic....Babe please get up, let's go to the mall and do some shopping for you and my upcoming niece" mentioning of her baby Roses eyes lit up in excitement and happiness

"Niece?" Rose smiled hearing her words

"Yup"

"Why would you say that? We don't even know yet what you're getting...niece or nephew Jess"

"I hope it's a girl"

"Why?"

"Because she will be cute as fuc* as you rosy" she said dreamily making Rose smile

"What if it's a boy?"

"Then he's going to be like your husband....... Cold, rude, arrogant jerk"

"You!.... My baby won't be a jerk. He will be my angel" Rose fake glared at Jess "boy can also be cute ok?... And no my Alex is not a jerk... Umm, Maybe was, but not anymore" Rose said standing up

"Calm down babe I was just teasing you. Boy or girl I'm sure that he or she is going to be awesome like you two. And you know what? They are going to be Intelligent, caring and successful like Alexander and cute, sweet and kind as you my Roseline. And they got an amazing aunt...... Smart and hot Jessica Jones" Jess said with a huge smile making rose smile too

"By the way I still prefer girls over boys" Jess mumbled causing Rose to shake her head with a smile on her face

"Now come on, gets some cute outfits for the baby and momma" With that they got ready. Rose wore a black pant and blue top. After some touch up on her face she walked out with her clutch and phone. When she reached downstairs she messaged Alex informing that she was going out with Jess.
