Chap 3 of Roseline is here♥️

WEDDING SPECIAL

The path that leads to the Alter is decorated with light purple and white flowers. Behind the Alter is the vast lake sparkling due to the evening sun matching the decoration. There in the Alter stood my groom, the most handsome man I ever saw. His appearance screams power. He looked like a model or more like a Greek god of the modern era. I have a net veil on my face with few sparkles. But I can see he was clearly looking at me.

I felt nervous all of a sudden. All the courage I gathered a little ago is trying to bid good bye to me. I didn't even realise when I reached the alter. My papa squeezed my hands while reaching the Alter making me realise that I'm near my destiny. My papa gave my hands in Alex's big calloused hands. An unknown spark run through my body as you know causing those beautiful, colorful butterflies to erupt inside my tummy.

I looked up at him through the veil over my face. He is tall, like really 'Tall'. I just stared straight at his neck, because my height only reaches at his chin level with my heels(wedges) on. But I'm glad that I have an veil over my face as well I'm short for a minute, because I don't have to look into his eyes at this moment

ALEXANDER'S POV

The door opened........I froze just like the time did. She's walking down the Aisle with her father. I never saw such a beautiful scene Infront of me. She was looking beautiful, just like a princess.

'No......no.....no stop right there Alexander, what are you thinking? Remember she's trapping you and you're being forced into this'

She was walking slowly with her hands in in her father's hands. They reached the Alter following the flower girls. I saw Mr Sanders looking at his daughter with love and proudness?. Yes he will be proud of his princess. After all she managed to get me. He stood there a minute and gave her hands in mine I felt sparks run through my body. Ignoring those I kept my pose.

I couldn't see her face clearly due to the veil. I don't know how she's looking.

As if I care

I just want to get over this and get the hell out of this place.

Priest started the ceremony without the wasting anymore time

"We gathered here to witness the union of Ms Roseline Sander and Mr Alexander Richardson" priest said looking at the guest gathered here to attend the ceremony before looking at me

"Do you Alexander take Roseline Sander as your lawfully wedded wife, to have and hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do us apart?"

" I do " I slipped the ring into her finger

"Do you Roseline take Alexander Richardson, as your lawfully wedded husband, to have and hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do us apart?".

" I do " Her velvety voice confirmed as she slipped the ring into my finger. Her voice was so beautiful

'Eventhough her intentions are not'

What are you thinking Alexander? she's a gold digger like everyone. After all she is from a middle class family. My chain of thought broke when the priest announced our ties fate

"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you as husband and wife, you may kiss the bride" he concluded smiling at us

By the time I pulled her by her waist and moved her veil from her face our eyes met. My green ones met her brown eyes. That was like the time froze. Her beautiful eyes held innocence and purity. When I held her waist she gasped, her lips slightly parted, she is nervous as hell. I lean down as she's short only reaches my chin and give a quick peck. Her lips felt so soft making me giddy inside

ROSELINE'S POV

Without any further delay he continued the ceremony. Everything happened in a daze. Jess was my maid of honour and my cousin sisters were the bridesmaids. I didn't knew what it felt to marry someone, but I knew one thing that I accept him as my everything

The time I said "I do" I knew that I'm going to keep my promise. I knew I liked him, And from now on, I will love him. He's going to be my first priority as well as my family. I will do everything to make him happy.

When he lifted my veil, I was mesmerized by his eyes. I got lost in the depth that he held in his forest green eyes. I wanted to stare at him all the day. I was nervous would be an understatement when he leaned down. The thought he's going to kiss me made me even more nervous. After all this is my first kiss.

I gasped at the intimacy we shared and he leaned down and pecked my lips. Just a peck, not a kiss. His eyes, now they were emotionless and cold.

Or am I imagining things? Maybe I'm

He walked me to the black expensive mercedes that was waiting for us. Once we reached the car, my papa and mama came to us and hugged me and then kissed my forehead. My husband and papa just did a handshake. Then he turned to me and said

"take care my Princess" His voice were shaking slightly. I can't imagine my parents feeling right now. But I could see it in their eyes. The pain..the desperation of giving me away, and a relief that they are giving me to someone who is a good man.

"Take care of my daughter, son. We are giving you a part of us" My papa said to Alex emotionally.

In return Alex nodded and smiled slightly. Then we hoped inside the car and left. I looked outside waving at my parents as I wiped the traitor tear left my eyes.

The car ride to his home was silent. Alex never ask me anything not he even glanced at my side, even for once

I don't understand, but can only think why?.........
