ROSELINE'S POV

Once we reached our suite room his phone started ringing suddenly breaking my thoughts. He answered the phone while staring at the caller ID

"Hello mom" so it was mom lily

"Yeah mom, yeah.... Yes she's here" from his talks I guess she is asking about me. And It's been a week since I talked to anyone from our family or Jessica. I wasn't paying attention to him when he called me. That's when I saw him
holding his phone out for me to take. I took it from his hands before bringing it near my ear

"He- Hello mom"

"Oh my god Rose, why didn't you call anyone? Is my son keeping you busy?" She giggled saying that. I didn't knew what to tell her at that. When she didn't get any reply she continued questioning me"What happened Rose? Why are you silent? And your phone, what happened to your phone? I tried calling you, your Mama tried calling you even Stella did. And whenever I called Alex, its either you're in bathroom or he's outside. Is everything fine?"She sounded worried

"Ye-Yeah, I....We are fine mom"

"Are you sure dear? Is he treating you well?"

I don't want to lie....But for her and everyone I have to. But it is not a total lie right? That if I say Alex is good to me? Because he's treating me well now and he is caring too in these few days.

"Ye- Yeah mom. He is treating me we-well and I'm happy here"

"Then why you sound sad my dear?"

"No mom, it's just that I miss you all. You, Mama, Papa, Dad, Stella and Ron, especially my cute little Sam" my heart filled with warmth as I reminced our time together

"Oh dear. We missed you too, especially Sam" there was this silence before she started to speak agin. "And Rose Alex is not a bad guy. He's arrogant and cold at times. And I know he might be rude at times. But he will come around soon and be patient my dear. Don't give up. Don't give up at all, Because he's your husband, no-one else's " I listened to everything she told me

"Yes mom I-I won't"

"Thank you my dear. Now that I'm relieved that you guys are fine I don't want to spoil your night anymore. Good night Rose" she giggled before hanging up her phone.

I gave the phone back to Alex with my eyes still down. I didn't knew why but I couldn't look up into his eyes. But I could feel him staring at my face. It was awkward. I have never been this close to any males before him. However he walked to the closet to change fortunately. It was late already and I also wanted to sleep. So I picked a sheet, blanket and pillow to make a bed on the floor as I was feeling better without any weakness now. I don't want to wait for him to say that I should go back and sleep on the floor like we were before

After making my bed on the floor I made my way to bathroom to get changed. But not before picking my dress which is a casual one. It was revealing like which made me sigh. After cleaning my face and brushing my teeth I changed into my night dress. I looked at the mirror before walking out of the bathroom. It's a comfortable one to wear but it's also uncomfortable to be in this when he's around

ALEXANDER'S POV

Even after how badly I treated her before she told mom that I was good to her, that I treated her well and she's happy with me. Now it's not a full lie as I care deeply for her and I feel lot more emotions when I'm around her. It's like. . . I like her. Hell I'm so attracted to her. And I feel that she's innocent and I judged her before I got to know her properly. I know I was a jerk toward her.
