Another Magic User

When hoseok said he was going to do a full background check, he meant it! Finding out some information that made him wonder if she was really sent or not.
All the information leads to him having a speedy stroll to the kims office, learning his lesson from previous, he knocked this time.

Hearing the faint enter, he walked in with the folder in his hand, holding all information he gathered,
"I'm in love and I need your help"
that was all he said to make the Kims stop all manner of work and stare at him in amazement, "Could you repeat, please" Jimin asked as he slowly placed himself on the couch wanting to be sure of what they just heard,
"I. Am. In. Love... And need your help!" Hoseok repeated,
"My God! The busiest man in our family is in love!" Jin said
"Miracles do happen!" Taehyung chirped, which made Hoseok sigh and suck his teeth at their teasing.
"Would you help or not?" he asked
"Yeah yeah, don't get your panties in a bunch... What's up buttercup!" Jin asked as he made his way to the single seat,
"I met this girl at one of our restaurants and she took my breath away, but I found it strange that she just started and then I remembered that's how Jay met you, could you check it out? Here's her info" he handed the file over to Jin then made his way to sit by Jimin on the loveseat.

Jin browsed through the folder and his eyes gradually got bigger as he went through,
"Callister... Callis... Callis" he was silently repeating the name as he tried to remember where he heard the name, then it clicked
"Rebecca Mc Callister! Guys do you remember her? She was two years under us," everyone in the room was watching him as if he went mad,
"Jessi!" he shouted
"No fucking way, Jessi? Hobi fell in love with Jessi?" was Taehyung's response and Jimin could only choke on his spit.
"Is that a good thing?" Hoseok asked
"She was considered a black cat in school, everyone called her Jessi!"
"So she is a magic user"
"Yes, but I wonder how she is now?" Jin replied
"She's pretty, quite beautiful actually, from the moment I saw her I wanted her in my life"
"Talk about whipped! And you don't even have her in your arms yet!" Jimin teased making Hoseok hide his face shyly.

The three Kims made funny and quirky jabs at Hoseok and he took it all because he knew they're his ticket to get to her,

"Why don't you do what Jay did to us?" that question Taehyung asked made the entire room go silent, it's a memory that would stick with them till death, they do love their  men but there is still a small ball of hatred in their hearts for how they were brought into this mafia world,

" No, I can't see myself doing that, Jay and the others, they regret how they got you," the trio looked at Hoseok shocked, it felt to them like their lovers no longer wanted to be with them, "Don't get me wrong, they love you like a moth to a flame but occasionally they wished they wooed you instead of kidnapping you, threatening you and I don't want that"

The trio looked at each other, mentally talking to themselves as Hoseok sat and wait for a hopeful answer,
"She'll be here tomorrow, 6pm latest. Organise yourself Hobi"

Jin said, making the others nod their head, Hoseok is happy about it but also confused as to how it's going to happen, none the less he thanked them and left the office with a huge smile on his face.
The goddess has been observing them, specifically Hoseok, she knows that he has to join them, but she doesnt want it to happen it the worst of ways. Hopefully she can slightly steer her gifted in the right direction if she sees their futures looking grim from their indecisiveness, interference in a person's life is not really frowned upon but more as a butterfly effect, if it starts small and ends horribly.

It's 6pm the next day and like Jin said, she was there in their mansion sitting in the living room, laughing and catching up with the trio,

"You said someone wanted to see me?"

"Um yes and I think you would like him, he seems to be your type"

"He should be here any moment"

With thise words that Taehyung said, Hoseok entered the mansion, tired and looking quiet stressed. His job had him on a thin line and he nearly didn't make it. His face shows that he's worn out, but when his eyes met hers, he felt relief and a sudden surge of energy. Jessi felt a blush to her cheeks as she saw the man who she secretly watched whenever he entered her restaurant,

"We will leave you two to talk"

The trio got up and made their separate ways, one to the kitchen, one the balcony and one to the office, making sure to leave the two in their own blissful conversation.

Hoseok slowly walked to Jessi, not taking eyes off her and she watches him and he approached,

"Hi", she said with a slight wave as she watched him take a seat on the coffee table in front of her

"Beautiful even up close", Hoseok whispered, but it was heard clearly by her, making her chuckle and say thank you in return.
It took them a while to start a conversation and by the time dinner was ready, the two were helplessly giddy for each other. Even throughout dinner when the entire crew ate, Jungkook and the others couldn't help themselves to watch their Hoseok smile as if bewitched. Wait? Was he bewitched? Nope!
