"Ryder? What are you doing here?" I asked, confused.

"Hello to you too. Are you not happy that I'm here?" Ryder replied smilling.

"What? Of course not! I'm just shock to see you here. I thought you'll be back in a few days?"

"I was supposed to, but I missed you so I came back earlier. Do you like the surprise?" He grinned.

"What surprise? Oh wait. You mean Josh, the kidnapping?"

He laughed.

"I wouldn't call that kidnapping but if that's what you think then okay. And yeah, that's the surprise. You look beautiful by the way," he smiled.

I blushed a little.

"Hmm. Okay,"

"I've already ordered for you,"

The waitress came just at the right time and served our food.

"So, how has it been?" Ryder asked, not quite sure what to say.

I chuckled. "You asked that like yesterday."

"Well yeah but maybe something happened after we ended the call," he shrugged.

"You think too much," I shook my head.

"More like I care too much," he muttered.

I giggled. "Should I be happy then?"

"Of course! I don't care for anyone. I care for those who are special,"

"Are the guys special?" I asked

He nodded. "Yeah, I treasure them a lot. They're my best friends. But you are more special,"

"Does the guys know you're back?"

He shook his head.

"I want to surprise them,"

It was silent for awhile.

"Do you er, have any ex girlfriends?" I asked shyly.

"Nope,"

"Really?"

"Yeah. You?"

"One,"

He nodded. "At least that's not a lot. Is he better than me?"

"You are way better than him," I smiled.

"I"m glad to know. I'm the best," he smirked.

"Nope, I'm the best, you're second best," I grinned.

"Whatever you say Ave, whatever you say," he shook his head.

We continued chatting like this until it was time to leave. Ryder opened the door to his car for me and I thanked him.

"Ryder, how did you ask Josh to kidnap me?" I asked while looking at him curiously.

He laughed. "He is my cousin, I paid him and he agreed to do what I said,"

"That make sense,"

We sat in silence after that.

"Where are we going?" I asked once I noticed the unfamiliar road.

"Just somewhere,"

"Come on, tell me," I pleaded giving my best puppy eyes. As expected, he gave in.

"We're going to a party, not a normal party but a party full of rich people," he answered reluctantly.

I could already see why he didn't want to tell me.
