"God, I want to pummel her right now!" Imelda exclaimed, pacing back and forth in the library. "I'll just take the anger and use it for quidditch fuel for now, but damn. That was the most devious thing I've ever seen her do. For as dim as she is... just plain devious."

"We're going to think of a way to get them back," I informed her.

"Well let me know when you do, I want to help. I'm one hundred percent with you on this, as long as it doesn't get me any detention. I can't have that on my record."

"We're not sure yet, but it's going to be something good. I want her to know it was me, but I'm going to make sure she can't prove it."

"Glad to see you with your fire back," Imelda told me. "And I knew there was no way Sebastian would ever say that. He's crazy about you, y/n, he can hardly take his eyes off you whenever you're around."

I blushed at her words, wondering if it were true. I hoped it was.

The rest of the week flew by, and it was now the day of the quidditch game against Gryffindor. In the last game, Gryffindor beat Hufflepuff and played a hell of a game. Imelda was completely on edge, as was I. This was my first real game of quidditch ever.

I still hadn't been sleeping great, but it was getting a little better; I hadn't taken the sleep medication at all this week so that I wouldn't be too out of it or shaky for the game. Talking to Sebastian before bed and during the day always helped as well. He's always been the master at getting me to calm down and feel better.

The morning before the game, I found myself in the Undercroft with Sebastian working on homework. Taking last weekend off from doing any was absolutely killing me, and I was now completely buried in assignments. Sebastian was always a big help with anything potions or herbology related, but I was on my own for astronomy and divination.

I didn't mind divination, and it seemed that I even excelled at it. There wasn't really much they could assign for homework besides history papers and have us study important people in regards to the topic, but I still enjoyed the reading. History of Magic was as boring as ever, often with the longest and most mundane essays I had to write.

We sat shoulder to shoulder against the wall as we worked. I watched Sebastian as he wrote, watching the way his eyes moved across the paper. He made a certain facial expression whenever he was writing, where he sucked in his lips and pressed his eyebrows together. I never pointed it out because I thought it was cute, and I never wanted him to stop doing it.

"Why do you always look at me like that?" Sebastian chuckled, looking up at me. "You're supposed to be catching up on a herbology paper right now."

I turned a bit red at the fact that he caught me staring, but I didn't turn my gaze away like I normally did. "I'm not staring," I said, defiantly.

"Well you're still staring," he jabbed back. "But I don't mind, it's endearing, really."

"Whatever," I laughed, finally turning my eyes back to my own paper.

"You know," he said. "I kind of forgot about it until I stuck my hand in my pocket just now, but I have something that belongs to you." He pulled the ring from his pocket that he'd taken back from me the morning after my birthday.

He took my hand and placed the ring in my palm. I took a moment to appreciate the ring, turning it over in my hand. As I did so, my eye caught something I hadn't noticed before. He'd had his name engraved on the inside of the band.

"Was this here all along?" I asked him, pointing it out to him.

"Yes," he told me. "I hope that's not weird to you."

"Not at all," I blushed, slipping the ring back on my finger where it belonged.

"Well I had to have some way to stake my claim on you," he told me, turning his attention back to his homework.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked him. He smiled, but kept his eyes on the parchment in front of him. "Sebastian!" I exclaimed, lightly smacking him in the arm.

"I'm busy right now, y/n," Sebastian said playfully. "Ask me about it later."

I rolled my eyes and went back to my assignment as well. I eyed the ring on my finger, still curious about what he meant. Did this mean he liked me as more than a friend?

He could give me all the signs in the world and I still wouldn't know. He had a flirty personality regardless, so sometimes it was hard to tell how I was supposed to take it. I'd yet to see him blush or act giddy at any of my actions, but I wasn't sure if he was like that at all. I've never had any sort of relationship with a boy before so I had absolutely no way to know how these things were supposed to go.

I don't even know anyone with dating experience, so I can't ask. I know Imelda and Poppy think he likes me, but I just want to be one hundred percent sure the feelings are requited before I said or did anything whatsoever.
