As the next few hours passed, Sebastian and I threw escape plans back and forth, but couldn't come up with anything. Unless he could get himself untied and retrieve his wand, there was no way we'd be able to break out, seeing as I was chained to the wall. Sebastian insisted that someone would come looking, but I wasn't going to depend on that fact. He was lucky enough in finding me, and I couldn't be staking our lives in a game of luck.

Once morning broke, the door to the house opened, letting in the morning sun. Charles' silhouette stood in the doorway and looked down at us.

"How are you two doing?" he mused. "Have you been enjoying your stay so far?"

"Fuck you," I spat.

"Just let us go! She won't help you anyways," Sebastian shouted.

"I never thought she would help willingly," Charles laughed. "I have my methods, and I can tell you that by the end of it, she'll be begging me to let her join me."

"Never," I seethed.

"We'll see about that."

"What is it you're even planning anyways?" Sebastian asked.

"That will all be made clear in due time, don't you worry yourselves about that," he smiled.

he walked across the room to where Sebastian lay on the ground and lifted him, propping him against the wall. He tried to squirm away from his grasp, but couldn't.

I felt so bad for getting us in this situation to begin with. If I would've pulled my head from my arse and waited until I had more help, or even told someone about what was happening like Sebastian did, this whole thing could've been avoided.

Sebastian could get hurt because of me. That thought filled me to the brim with guilt.

"I'm going to untie you now, but you don't try anything, or I'll kill her," Charles said, pointing the tip of his wand in my direction. "Understood?"

Sebastian hesitated for a moment, but nodded. Charles then went on to untie him like he said. Sebastian just stood there, unsure what to make of the situation. I could see a certain look in his eye- an expression he typically made when brewing up some sort of plan.

I know that Charles wouldn't kill me.

Whatever he has planned, he obviously needs me, or he wouldn't toy with us like this. I needed Sebastian to know that, too. I didn't know if he'd put those pieces together yet. If Sebastian tried something, I wouldn't die, but there's a chance Charles would just kill Sebastian. But then again, he seemed to think he needed Sebastian to get to me.

That fact was completely true. I would throw down everything, and do anything for that man. He didn't deserve a single ounce of what was happening to him at the moment.

"I have a plan now, but you two are going to have to follow my directions, or one, maybe even both of you may end up dead," Charles went on.

As he kept talking, Sebastian caught him off guard and tackled him to the ground. All I could do was watch as they wrestled on the ground for control over Charles' wand. Sebastian's fingertips grazed where it lay on the ground after Charles dropped it, and he stretched his arm out as far as he could. The two of them were grunting and trying to stay on top of one another as they fought, but Sebastian was finally able to grab the wand.

He stood up from the ground as fast as he could and aimed the wand down at Charles.

"You're making a mistake," Charles chuckled. "Do what you will, but I assure you, I always get my way in the end."

He wasn't even fighting. This threw Sebastian off for a second, but he quickly regathered his thoughts and cast the petrifying spell on him. Sebastian then went and tried to use the killing curse, but as he did so, the wand seemingly didn't respond to him and shot out of his hand and sent him flying backwards. Confused, he stood back up and retrieved that wand, trying it again.

I cringed internally hearing him once again using that curse. But in my mind, I knew that Charles would be better left for dead.

Again, the curse backfired, and Charles couldn't be killed. I bet that he would be laughing his arse off right now if he wasn't petrified.

The next time Sebastian grabbed the wand, he approached me instead, stepping over Charles' stiff body.

"Alohamora," he said, working at the locks on my chains. When my arms fell free, I took my wrists into my hands and rubbed them. they were bruised and sore from struggling against them when I was first locked up. Once I was completely free, he took me into his arms and embraced me in a warm and tight hug.

"Let's go," I said, pulling away. We can hug later. Right now, we just needed to put as much distance as we could between us and this man.

Sebastian and I shot out the door, and were immediately bombarded by two wizards. I hung back as Sebastian petrified them as well. Once they were stiffened on the ground, I rifled through their pockets until I found both Sebastian's wand and mine. I tossed Sebastian his, and he caught it and pocketed Charles' wand.

Right as we were about to leave, someone apparated in front of us.

Professor Weasley.

At first we were ready to fight whoever it was, but instantly dropped our wands upon realizing who it was. Seconds later, a few other teachers apparated to our location as well.

"Oh my," she said, upon seeing our state. "Are you two alright?" she approached us and examined our faces, but we assured her we were okay. "Glad to find you two are still alive. Gave me quite a startle seeing you were gone this morning, Sebastian," she scolded. "Where is the man who kidnapped you?"

"He's in there," I said, pointing back to the house we just escaped from. All the teachers rushed inside, but Professor Weasley popped out a moment later.

"There's no one there," she said. "Are you sure that's where you left him?"

"Positive," said Sebastian grimly.

"He must have escaped somehow," I sighed.

Fuck. Crafty son of a bitch.
